It's funny and sad at the same time...

Thankfully, I can heartily laugh at it, and put this person on the same rung as those who put Chevrolet badges on their Holden.

It's okay, they probably just swapped badges with their XR6. Somewhere out there is a XR6 with Magna badges on it. :P

Not quite the same though, atleast Chevy and Holden are owned by the same company..its like putting a AMG badge on a Holden..

Imagine a rear wheel drive Magna "now if that was done early enough, it may have saved Misubushi's Australia's plant in Adelaide".

I wasn't saying that an XR6 badge on a Magna is the same as a Chevy badge on a Holden...I was just saying that I put these people on the same low rung.

Chevrolet might appear to be glamourous in Australia, but in the states, it's nothing special. I just can't understand people's mentality in putting those damn badges on.

A lot like a Merc in Germany. Although I will accept that Mercs are probably better quality.

I wouldn't pay 58k for a car with less room, less power, rock seats and terrible ride though.

think of it as a form of flattering...for some one wanting to put a xr6 badge on their car must mean that the xr6 is hell of a car.

shite, I better take off the black GT stripes, the XR8 BA boot badge and the tickford wings from the guards off the mrs camry. The car might not be in one piece after a day at the station car park.

I've been wondering that for a while when I see how many people drive Toyota Corollas.

Their rights as consumers...they may be misled...delirious even, but still, their money to blow.

But how could you? Next time you hit a toll bar the badges would simply be knocked off.

Apparently this is now all the rage. Check out the wheels and probably sideskirt too. Definantly still had ford centre caps but you can only just make them out. Also note that horrible exhaust not from a falcon.
