I think that the inside of some X-series steelies fouls on our disc brakes. That's the reason I couldn't fit XC steelies to the EB (well at the rear anyway, didn't check the front).

XF steelies will fit on an ED however, a friend's old man swapped tyres with his son lol

I saw turbo blades on an AU last week... :

I used to see an EA wagon with globes years ago, the car was lowered & it actually looked pretty good.

my EF doesnt have globes, they are far more rounded, not sharp edged like the globes.

Think of them as Globes with soft edges then.

No, no, i dont think this is intentional. They are probably just like me. Cant afford a new set of tyres for their mags so just go on ebay and buy old wheels with new tyres that fit? *bogan*

my pet hate is incorrect badging.

such as putting ghia badges on a stock fairmont,

also on that same car had an LTD hood ornament, which was too far up the bonnet.

That yellow eb NO! NO! NO! : but the 351 can stay I guess its all to do with what you think looks tuff. :

He’s on the rite track, lowered and 351 but then what happened? Ran out of money?

Imagine what that EB would look like with say 18" rims no mud flaps black legal tint, clear lenses and Ed xr lip!!!!!!!!! :

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with 12 slots on an EA-ED !!!!!!!

Thay can, as eb91xr6 said, look tough on a dumped car.

No doubt about it.

Snowflakes on an EL, YUK!!!!!! :

i was going to put the snowflakes from my EA onto my EL only because a) i want to get rid of the EA, and b) there is way more tread on the snowflake's tyres than on the crap black ones i have now

Each to their own. I took the snowflakes off the ZL and put them on the wife's EF and she loves them, and that's good enough for me.

I personally reckon I would be better off leaving the car stock instead of trying to make a half *** attempt to improve the looks of the car. To me, if you cant afford to put decent rims on a car, then leave it alone. Im NOT going to improve the look of the car by putting POVO rims from an earlier generation vehicle on it. I beleive its un-natural.

I say screw what everyone else thinks, do what you like and what you think looks good.

You are the one that has to drive the car and look at it everyday.

Do what you think is good and makes you happy.
