Great job Russ and all else involved in getting AFF back on line. I've never watched so much TV for ages. Good to be back.

From about 12.30 the server will be off line for some maintenance and index rebuilds that will take the rest of the night.

Well done gents. I'm a sysadmin so i know what it's like...
Oh and you know what they say about RAID - Ruin All Important Data
So RAID really stands for Redundant Array of Inexpensive/Independant Disks
and on my workstation at work i run RAID-0, so no redundancy. Does that mean my workstation has AIDs?

Avatars are now fixed. It was an issue with the default configuration file.

That should only leave some back end set up issues for backups and scheduled tasks and a fix for the POP3 service which isn't working at the moment.

Shall now watch a bit of Nascar and come back to it.

Cheers
Russ

FYI the ORSM Ford Cruises area is not working, the individual threads are, but not the overall menu.

You dedication is much appreciated by us all Russ. However please not to let this happen again. Without AFF I had only one thing to do to stop myself going completely mad. Apart from the mandatory little purple pills, I found my only release was to take a T for a drive. Came home after three hours (just a short drive, hoping everything would be fixed by this time) but alas, still no AFF. So I took another T for a drive ... and so on ... yes, I also had no sleep that night. But hey, I'm sure I had a much better night than you! heheheh.

I'm not sure what you are saying? There is only one sub forum (the Builds one) and this appears at the top whichever way I go into it.

Great work Russ.
You don't need to do it all your self. I am happy to help out. Been around computers for a long time now, 15 years Solaris Unix Admin, a bit green with Linux, but willing to help out any way I can. If you need a hand with anything let me know.

That looks like the local php is not being interpreted. If the cache clearing does not work, try another browser (firefox or chrome or whatever).
If that also fails try another PC from your connection.

Again it looks like a cache problem. Clear it and if using IE, in the "temp int files" tab set "check for newer versions of stored pages" to "every visit to the page".
