Definately. It's even worse when your coast resume button doesn't work all that well, meaning you have to properly set it again. I can't just hit the button. I have to get to the right speed every time it happens before I set it. It's quite infuriating

Trucks should be banned from using the far right lane altogether! Especially on the Down and Up track of the freeway in Adelaide. Its way too dangerous, almost had an accident a few times up the rear of a truck.

How about when you park in a carpark, 10,000 spaces away from the nearest car and, when you return, there's a car parked next to you? That happens to me, like, every time I shop. It's un-freaking-believable.

People who indicate 150m before they turn in a 60 zone. This always involves driving past 5 or 6 possible turning locations before they actually decide to turn.
People who walk out onto pedestrian crossings without looking.
People who smoke while driving. Yes, I'd just love to have a nice big piece of unfiltered cigarette get caught in my engine bay and stink out my car.

People who open their car door into my car and put a door ding in it.

People who hit my car in a car park and do $600 damage....then don't leave their details.

People who can only ever talk and whine about how bad/infair their life is everytime you see them......yet do nothing to change it....

People who look at everything not only like the glass is half empty but its dirty too....so even if the glass is full...its still not good enough

People who, when you ask how they are/ how their weekend was etc answer..."not too bad...."

Singers who sing "which you" instead of the words "with you" like they are some gangsta rapper yet sing everything else properly.

Saying something unflattering about a senior staff member from another office only to realise they are sitting in the cubicle behind you chekcing their emails while they are visiting your office.....d'oh

Any situation where the majority is in fear of the minority.

That the most powerful nantion in the world does not have mandatory voting...so the world's most powerful man is not nessacarily voted in by the majority of citzens, rather its who ever go the most people to actually get off their butts and vote.

The Australian medias lack of integrity - do you believe they are unbiased?

The fact that John Howard has so much power and can lie, cheat, deny and get away with it....and the media let him! At least Rudd is now getting some airtime to even things up, we do live in a democracy, we should hear each side of the argument.

"do gooders" who get off on changing rules to protect the minority of stoopid people who would probably benifit from more life experience rather than more rules.

Sorry have I gone off topic?????

how about Commodore driving hoons

People that fail to notice politically based comments/discussions are banned by the site TOC :P

People that swing left to turn right (its a small car, not a b-double) or vice versa.

People that think rims and an exhaust make their car a sports car.

Bolt on rear wings, especially on commodors and falcons.

Default What peeves me

What peeves me is that I had to register on this site and pretend to be one of you "Ford Lovers" so that I could have a conversation with my husband. The conversation would contain certain requests like "Are you coming to bed honey?". This request would be put forward a lot more if he weren't looking thru this site every night. So honey - and you know who you are, if you're reading this, and I know you are, tonight instead of getting on your computer after the kids go to bed, how about an early night. Surely your fellow Ford Fellows would support your night off! And if I don't get laid tonight - I will be telling this forum what sort of car you use to own!!!!!!!!! - Not a Lada by the way - I wouldn't want my reputation ruined as well. :

what peeves me on the road.....

When you leave a gap in the traffic, for an intersection, or for the fire brigade, or ambo's, as painted on the road "keep clear" only to have some scum bag from 12 cars behind you pull out onto the wrong side of the road then race down and cut in so they can get through the lights in the next phase....

I now watch the review mirror... when i see em pull out i roll into the middle of the keep clear spot to not giv them the satisfaction.....

Default What peeves me

What peeves me is when you see people with standard BA's who "rice" them up and put those stupid big exhausts on them to make them sound like a V8. When they will only ever sound like a little Chogie Honda. :

Female drivers in general. I'm not saying they're all bad, because I've been out driven by a woman more than once, but I can't stand the self indulgent middle aged ones in there husbands landcruiser sitting 10kph below the speed limit in the right hand lane and when you over take, they speed up. They even queue up at the lights in the right hand lane. 4 deep I saw tonight, so the lefthand lane holeshot is a legitimate move in my book.

Also...you have to watch these crafty womens spying on partners on a car enthusiast forum. Imagine if she found shopping for a russian bride. That would have been an amusing situation

Look dear.. no one wants to marry you anymore..

You should all note tho, that when she pops down to the shops, her shiny new patrol stays in the garage, and that poor 'riced' up BA is the vehicle of choice.

Good to see this thread is getting back on topic.

oh i had the idiot of the day today, coming down the freeway in the right lane overtaking someone, car infront of that, a couple of hundred meters in front decides to just randomly pull into the right lane, i thought what a d**k, there was noone around at all apart from me. Then i was catching him and he wouldnt move over into the left lane, so i go around him in the left lane to overtake and then he speeds up!

now that annoys me

by the way this is Pursuit_chick lol signed in wrong name

Handy tip, if someone is tailgating you during the day, turn your lights on. Your tail-lights go on and they soil their pants thinking it's your brake lights and you're braking hard. They will be braking so if you accellerate, you leave them behind. Take that sucka!

Or just have a bigass tow bar on the back and actually jam on the brakes. The pulsating feeling from the abs gives your foot a nice massage, and the person behind get's a heart attack. Everyone wins

Once again, I cannot STAND those who stay in the right hand lane in 80km+ zones while they are not over taking.

Help! Driving on the pacific m'way at night doing 110 and the kid beside you is texting on his mob as he drifts sideways towards you. Sms finished, he speeds up, then gets a reply slows down to 90 and drifts sideways again, and again.

oh yeah how about "people" with "baby on board" sign in the window.
Really means - stay away, this person is not in full control of the vehicle and not paying attention to the road.

Also and this is a biggie.. people who refuse to obey the 40km/h speed limit at school zones.

A student from Brisbane has been punished because she has a nose ring.
She and her mother manage to get themselves on Sunrise this morning to have a proper whinge…. :togo:
The dress standards of the school clearly state that Body Piercing is not permitted but Earrings are fine.
She admitted that she knew this before she enrolled at the school.

So the mother keeps going on about her daughter being disadvantaged.... If she has detention she won't build a rapport with her school mates etc etc...
If she took the ring out and followed the school dress standards, then there wouldn't be a problem! :

I don't necessarily agree with the rule, but it's there, and she needs to abide by it.
