Actually, nah BOOSTMYEF, you are quite correct.. I'm sure once the judge hears your reasoning behind your unregistered car scenario, he'll understand, and throw the charges out.. "I could have saved $1000 over 2 years!!"

they cant take from you, what you dont have..
You won't lose demerit points but if you are involved in an accident you wont be covered by TAC insurance!! Pretty bloody stupid imo people like you who choose not to pay car registration. You are lucky the vast majority of people do pay.

As for driving without a licence, that will end up with you making a few court appearances and then you will get free rent thanks to the state government!

if you dont get caught, you saved your self $1012+ over 2 years..
LOL!

I pay $270ish on the EA. It's been under my Mum's name since like 1993, when she had a pension card for sole parents. Pretty good huh?

EB will be like $500 or something :o(

I think I only paid just under $300 for 6months... not sure now.. may have been just over...

Will have to look for the receipt thingo....

I don't think the rego is unreasonable .. its the other stuff. I don't see why we need to have the insurance fact on it if we have our own full insurance..

Those of us that have Full insurance should get a discount on what we pay in rego..... :

In qld it costs $763.15 to register an XB 351. I recon this makes up for the non tax on fuel(crafty state govt)

STUPID BUGGER OF THE MONTH AWARD
It took 2 pages to get that line on here!..

Yeah im an idiot, I am single handedly giving this forum a bad name

I drive around with a big f k n E-SERIES FORUM MEMBER sticker on the back of my unregoed cut spring EA with MPI conversion and no insurance

blah blah blah..

If everyone is so up for paying their rego and full comp insurance then why is there a thread about it complaining about the prices?

I dont understand why everyone is so FOR it, then you all come onto the forums and b!tch about it?

Anyways, it was a just a joke sorry if you all got "offended" by my comments

Obviously some understood it as a joke, but obviously some didnt and took offence, sorry to those who did

I will not be posting any further comments in this thread, so knock your selves out!

Thank you

You Mexicans get it cheap.

$340 for Rego here & 465 for Green slip.

Making a total of $805

Youve just gotta love NSW. The high tax and no infrastructure state.

In the nt we have the highest rego costs (without slips).

For my ef xr8 i paid $338 for 6 months or $669 for a year worth of rego plus a rego inspection on top.

It weighs up the fact that we get open speed limits on the highways and no demerit points
