Some of the highly worked examples on cardomain.com are interesting. I think colour makes a huge difference on the 300c. Black nearly makes it look like a different car. Perhaps because it blends with the dark windows, altering perception of the line compared to white with dark tint. |

Those things are truly hornbag. But after the Top gear episode, they'd need a bit less technical refinement to interest me.

Good qustion...will it ever evolve from being just a pace-car? I would imagine that they would have a lot of work on their hands trying to get it a little more aerodynamically suitable as well as the handling issues.

as long as you can drive manual and enjoy them... theyre better... i love them personally... no worrying about downshifting when not wanted, eg drifting... or attempting to anyway... autos are better in traffic though... but i know for sure i wouldnt want a repair bill or a replacement bill for a zf or similar... no thanks...

This two tonne SRT-8 beast will do the qtr mile in 13sec flat STOCK. It will be interesting to see what it retails for.

The Courier Mail, March 4, 2006, page 21. "And Chrysler intends to add 5 more 300c variants this year." "They are the high performance 6.1-litre Hemi V8 sedan in April, then there will be station wagons. 3.5l V6, 5.7l V8 and a 3l Turbo diesel, in the second half of the year." "The SRT8 Wagon is also a possibility"
t's an American abroad with a brash exterior but a winning personality, and a welcome newcomer to the Australian motoring scene. We can't wait for the larger engined SRT-8 version, due around April, to fling down the first challenge in living memory to HSV and FPV. I can confirm that they will be in Australia from late April / early May. Pricing yet to be advised but expect upwards of $75-80k dependant on what they toss in as standard equipment.
Cheers Russ

I wonder what Harold Scruby has to say about this car?
Considering its power output. If Ford or Holden ever released something with over 400hp I think they would be under fire from the government. What a stupid country we live in. _ |
