A tough cruiser it is, and its definately an attention getting car. First night I had mine, I was marauded at the BP by teenagers and their girlfriends asking me what it was and telling me how awesome it looked. And that story continued right until I drove it into the garage to start its rebuild.
Plus it hauled some in its tenure of cool cruiser. Many a Civic and Commie driver were blown away in straight line traffic light drags. As long as you dont need to turn any corners its a saint; squats down nicely (most likely due to its sky high cottage cheese suspension) and the 351 breathing through the throaty sounding thermoquad... good times. Its not hard to turn up the performance, and its greater in strength and durability too, having the stronger engine from the GT, not just a standard 351. There are plenty faster and more powerful 'muscle cars' on the road, but none as comfy and stylish as the LTD. Its a keeper.

Wrecking a P6 has been the cheapest way of getting a 9 inch for years, unless you have a '79 model which only has a Borg Warner..

Where is all this sexuality crap coming from? I don't even own a bloody XR5 OK! I just came up with the bogan limo idea as there is a P6 getting around my crappy suburb with about 3 diffent colours of body panels on it and looking really bad and we call it the bogan limo.
