Given the welcome he got, not surprised by the low number of posts :togo:

I suggest you reread the thread again

What you quoted was post no 28 and the only really negative post he had received

Up until then, there were nothing but accolades for that car and people bending over backwards posting up scans of old articles..........

How does that detract from my post?

sparkles that wouldn't be the car in question in your avatar would it? by any chance?

that is a fantastic looking example of that car! reinforces my standpoint that you cant have anything overly nice cause soon as you do some jealous <insert swear> will take it or scratch it or whatever. Society sux.

from memory wasn't it going to be a cobra replicar and once they saw it in the black guide/undercoat they thought it had to be black. i know it is slightly late information but a few years after it was stolen there was a black coupe for sale in western australia they recon it was a unused body shell from ford but i imideately thought of your coupe. it was in unique cars so they weren't being to stealthy. :

Sparkles, thanks for posting those pics - I was a bit young when the XCoupes came out, just starting to pay attention to those shiny things running about on the roads outside, which admittedly, is a bit peculiar for a girl (Dad loved it though), but as I got older, I followed them in the magazines, and I remember this gorgeous car. That's keeping the memories alive, again, thanks for posting the 'private' pics of your dad's wonderful hardtop.

I was ****ed when my generic unmodified car was stolen, I can only imagine how your old man felt when a car built with that sort of passion was half inched.

Beautiful car and I hope karma is real.
