It should, as it corrects the signal that is sent to the dash, which is then sent to the ecu

I know it should ..I must have used too much heat when I used my soldering station and internally fried the components.

It says it can adjust speed signal from 0-99% so it could be used to eliminate the speed limiter but obviously wouldn't be giving an accurate reading on dash whilst doing so

you should be able to recalibrate the speedo if the cluster is in police mode. had loss some trip computer functions with police mode enabled.

my speedo needle when car is off sits about 10 mm under '0'. when the car turns on the needle taps itself down and up a few mm then resets to 0. Again turning off the car will see it tap itself a few times up and down before dropping 10mm back past 0. ??!!?? eh, at least it tells me tehe correct speed according to the diagnostics test mode.

the unfortunate part is my Tacho tells me the wrong revs. it sits at about 400 revs at idle (bleh) and rarely goes higher than 2000 in drive.

i believe i caused these problems when i removed the cluster to replace the black fascia/decal(?) with a cheap as white piece of crap from ebay that melted 1 month later! trying to get the needles back on i thin i may have twisted them slightly whilst trying to put them on/pull them off. bugger. that's my 5 cents anyways
