Who would have thought you'd get bashed for simply saying you wish a car looked a bit more outlandish, it's not like I'm here saying that's it's crap and anyone who buys it is a fool, in fact I said it seems like a good piece of kit. Just too bland for what I wish the final Aussie icon to be. The thing will never draw a crowd like a XB GT coupe.

It's more the BS about Ford not doing this or putting a toaster in it. Everyone has an opinion of course which they are entitled to but most GTF owners brought the car for what it means to them, but this car has had more bashers than anything else and even from so called Ford fans. It's obviously that bad that's why they sold out so quickly. Sounds more to me like sour grapes for whatever reason.

Never said it's bad, never. Just said I wish it had different body kit to make it more individual. That's my opinion and feel free to ignore it I could give two hoots. I can look at a car I like or even own and still point out issues and/or things I wish they'd done differently, I can also have someone say that they wish a car I like/own had been done differently without getting all upset about it, why can't you.

So, since my opinion means nothing and is wrong and you are obviously right, using your logic, I'd like to congradulated you on your purchuse of a GT-F mate, which colour did you get?

Again, car looks to be a great, just wish it stood out more.

I ordered octane with a manual. I don't care about what it's not, I'm happy to have one for what it is and just think I'm lucky I was able to get one. I'm sure most people who have one coming or who wanted one fully understand.

I'm not knocking the car(just the tyres) which is the only thing that I wouldn't be happy with (the gt-f's factory dunslop rubber), they are simply not up the power level these cars produce

Surely if you've got circa $80k for a car you can afford $2k for different tyres if that's your only concern about it.

No one will ever be happy until they re release the XY GTHO , with modern steering and brakes and a hike in power. Because your crying that you didn't buy one when they were cheap as chips and have a car worth something. Move on and embrace the modern GT . Be serious if you really wanted the last ever GT you would of bought it even if it was pink with green polka dots.

Sorry but I've never liked the GTHO but I won't come on here and go on about it.

To those that are getting a GT-F, I'm jealous!!

Agreed, it seems the majority spend a large amount of time finding fault, no matter what product Ford Australia brings out.
Enjoy the car for what it is, bloody awesome bang for the buck that we won't be able to ever buy again in a couple of years. Ford must have done something right as they had zero problems moving every car, many at a premium over RRP.
With the budget Ford Australia had for the GT-F I reckon they did a top job.
To complain about the tyres it a bit of a stretch, car makers have generally never put on top shelf tyres, if anyone wants to track their GT-F I am certain those owners will buy tyres to suit. The tyres fitted to the car will suit most owners (at least until they wear out).

Never been a fan of octane, gut boy does the gt-f in octane look hot. Easily the best colour in the gt-f with the stripes/panda eyes

I personally don't like Octane. Too similar to a Yellow Cab if if you ask me - especially with all the black on it.

I love every other colour in them though, and no doubt about it anyone who owns one is very lucky!
