i would recommend the pioneer amps,
they are lowest power in for power out. if you are having probs with bass not in time with music look at getting some time delays for the inside speakers. rnb, dance = vented = low painfull bass that travels n travels n travels rock, quickbass(trance) = sealed = med bass, quick responses ive got twin 12" kickers n custom boxes n they are good until you get a quickbass song like trance, but with most other music its great so i put up wid it. as for wiring, if possilble run the 4ch untouched from head unit to your 4ch amp and turn on the hpf. then run the 2ch untouched from 4ch amp to your 2ch sub amp n turn on lpf. thats how it works in the pioneer amps n it works well. as for power, rms or true value is roughly 1/3 of what ever they say on the outside of the amp. as for how much power. depends how loud n far you want you music. im the neighbourhood pain in the ***. i can be heard from 1min away (so im told). and it makes next doors items shake. thats with running 2 x pioneer amps n 2 x 12" kicker subs. total current draw including 4ch pioneer amp running 4 x 6x9 kickers = 80A-110A depending on the song. so fin loud. bradman |
