The base model is still called the XT as it was in the B-Series.

Yeah the base model is still XT but the (what was the XL) base model ute is now just called the 'Falcon Ute'.
And BLUEPRINT I have no idea what GL is but XT is: X- To link it to the sports model and performance of the car, and T- To link it to a tourer.

As for the G6E I have no idea if it has a word to coincide with any of the letters (apart from T for Turbooohhhh), and will stand by my Opinion that its a crappy idea. Don't worry either BionicSix, I have a whole pile of Fairmont badges, and if I ever get a G6 I plan to put one on there.

If you are not, I am flattered by the offer but Internet Hero does not bat for the other team. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

No matter what your lifestyle preferences may be, I can respect your opinion on the mentioned subject. That is because you drive a Fairmont and are obviously old enough to remember the history of the Fairmont name and when it meant something. If anyone has the right to lament the loss of the name, it is you.

Surely however we can all move with the times, after all other famous institutions have adapted. We all need to look to "The Colonel" for inspiration. After all he took the risk to change Kentucky Fried Chicken to the now well know KFC. Now if that isn't genius, what is?

I think we can all learn something from this
Ohh Dear

Internet hero turns cry baby!

This is the reason that the user gave:

"Nice IP Address match." This was a quote from poster Laminge

Can you tell me how my IP was obtained and to what direction Laminge is heading with this statement. Is this person a moderator, and if so is he abusing his position.

I expect a follow up on this as it can be easily conceived as a threat.

I was under the impression that XR stood for 'eXperimental Racer' or something to that effect.... so XT would be 'eXperimental Tourer'?

Oh what did GL stand for btw??

Just a thought the G - as in G6/E/T could stand for Grand or pay respect for Ghia. After all they say thats why they called it FG.....
