Ah sweet, I borrowed a Gregories for EA/EB 88-92 from the library, however when I was reading through it, it said that the code 14 is for TFI module, worn distributor.

Now no codes showed up in diagnostic, but distributor fault on the sheet would most likely be the hall effect or cap? See they thought it was a crook injector or bad earth to ECU before they did diagnostic. And when the car was converted to mpi, the distributor died within a week and another was put on (going back a year of two).

I think they told me they had trouble putting another in, as the cfi was mounted someway compared to the mpi...I'm getting confused

But I shall go pick up a oxy sensor, see how that goes, then try rotor cap, then go for distributor.
By the way, is the oxy sensor a clockwise/anticlockwise thread? I don't want to try and get it out and end up screwing the thread :nutsycuck

oxy sensor is just like a normal bolt to undo in normal direction.

Cheers all, I just replaced the oxy with an NTK one, cost $78 opposed to Sunshine Ford's $175 quote!!!

But yeah it looked very crook, and I started it with the new one, and it sounded so much better than before! Haven't tried it out yet, maybe when I go to work in the morning.
