Kart Hire is as follows...

"ARRIVE AND DRIVE"

15 mins - $40
30 mins - $70
1 hour - $130

We'll probably do 1/2 hour like we did last time but we're all pretty flexible.

Maybe a pre-meet is in Order at Heathcoate Maccas, its pretty central for everyone (cept me! ) then its bang straight down the Fwy and into Dapto.

If that doesnt happen, easier way from Manly would be Eastern Dist, -> Princes Hwy, Southern Fwy, then follow that to Mt Ousley Rd, down the Mountain, and follow the freeway to the Northcliffe Drive exit.
Then Right at the Roundabout, Left at the T intersection and then its on your...Right?

I think thats right, best to double check me I'm just thinking aloud.

Ok, by the look of it we might be lucky and get a semi wet track... make sure you bring spare clothing as you might get a bit wet.

Greetings all. I've just spoken to them at the track. They said the track hasn't
been booked for 3pm, so I told her I'm rocking up with about ten people at
that time...

Our only problem is the chance of heavy rain this afternoon has picked up a little,
http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR033.shtml

"Wollongong : Showers, mainly afternoon/night. Max: 25"

But if you feel its too long a drive for you to go down there for nothing
thats something you will have to decide... so it would be a good cruise
anyway if you do decide to go down. You could do a Natio' run on the way
back etc... don't risk anything, please drive safely.

I hope to see you at Heathcote Maccas 2pm, otherwise I'll see you at the
track by 3pm.

I don't have contact numbers for "1TUFXR" and "xr8ute" so I will be sending
you pm's shortly.

Remember, bring some spare clothes incase we get a bit wet out there on the
track, they do have a shower/change room available...

Cheers.

Just got back, and glad to say (apart from a few niggling issues with a couple of
carts) we had a fair bit of fun out there today. The rain
held off the whole time, but regardless, we still found ways to to make these
things hang out a fair bit. :evil3:

This month Rugernenn is the Stig (again), for setting the fastest time of the
day. We will need to organise a ride-on mower for him next time to make his
trip to the outfield a little more useful. :P

As mentioned above, the only flaw of the day was some karts weren't
performing as well as the rest, so some guys found themselves competing for
the slowest time.

Thanks to the guys for turning up (nine in total) and making it a trip worthwhile...
Also, good to meet Dave, Aaron and Liam. Hopefully you all enjoyed it and we'll
see you there again next time.
Cheers.

Ditto to what Mr Falc'man says. was a great day and the kart i had compared to last time was a monster!

But like the guys stated Youseff gets the "M.Schumacher" title for most laps. I might be able to pull off a decent lap but i do love the tyre wall :P

Default Next Round 2nd Of March...........................

Ok gents. Just planning ahead a bit for the next meet at Kembla Grange,
hopefully this will give enough notice, especially for those who missed out
yesterday. At this stage after checking with a few guys we've set the date
for Sunday 2nd of March...

The list so far...

1. bigAl
2. Rugernenn
3. Airmon
4. Falc'man
5.
6.
7.
8.

If we have more than 12 turn up on the day, we'll need to split up into two groups or something like that.

Conditions are as per last weekend, ie, no guarantee of time slot without deposit. Saturdays are usually booked to professional Karters I think.
