They just don't work on western faces. Our noses are too prominent, when I had mine, there would be gaps either side of the nose, and the air would just enter and leave from the path of least resistance.. the gap. Wearing glasses was impossible, as they got steamed up every time you yould breathe out. I had to resort to gluing and duct taping a spread opened paper clip across the ridge of the nose on the mask so as to crimp the gaps closed... Didn't look good at all lol. Edit... I knew it was in one of my boxes.. I have a habit of not tossing things away... Last edited by Yellow_Festiva; 29-04-2009 at 12:13 AM. |

Apart from grunting and squealing, what are the symptoms of this flu?

Damn it, you guys gave me a stitch with the jokes. Very clever!
If it all goes to the 'hogs' a bit of info can only help. Seriously though, see Attachment C, "Pandemic Planning for Households": http://www.emergency.nsw.gov.au/media/331.pdf

to put things in perspective . TB killed 1600000 people in 2008.
to put it in another perspective http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzUvFRZH7mg or this .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEQZd...631&feature=iv mind you yanks are always coming up with doom and gloom on youtube . quicker than the news is released youtube already has armaggedin dialed into every topic . i dont want to stand by this BS ALL OVER THE WEB . BUT it makes interesting thinking. Last edited by gtfpv; 30-04-2009 at 08:39 PM. |

I saw i the news last night that Egypt want to kill every single pig in the country.
A guy on the radio said today those masks are a waste of time, when you breath in them the moisture in your breath eventually makes them redundant. |

At the moment, the number of people infected with this Virus are few.
Unless precautions are taken, without a vaccine it could spread widely. By taking the current steps, its spread will be limited. No doubt it will be added to next year's flu vaccine - then it will cease to be a threat. |

meteorites, tsunamis, bird flu, guinea pig flu, vampires, pyramid schemes... every 6 months our media outlets seize on another doomsday event to bolster their income and run with it. Goverment agencies have no alternative but to act as these event "potentially" may have an impact on our lives. Blah blah blah.......
