Bodyroll FTW!

I had a really good time out on the pan... I learnt a lot about how hopelessly crap the LWB's are at handling... :P

The car was off for most of the day, didn't seem to have the pulling power it normally does... I put this down to stock 5.0's being lame :P

Ignore the ugly bugger behind the wheel :P

Next time out, it'll be lowered, on 17's and with any luck, a lot more power to drift it around...

I've got some internal and external video clips... i'll have to sort out youtube soon, so I can get them up...

Big thanks to Pecker73 for sending me the pics

Here is a link to an internal vid of the Lane on the pan... This was an open session, no set course, so I was just throwing it around...

For some reason the sound no longer works on it...

Rollin, is that gravel in that vid??? i'd whip your **** on water or gravel ;)

Kenaz - yeh, there was too much grip. I was using grid ii's cos i thought the pan would be wet the whole day, but in the morning it was dry, and the grip was amazing, even on the concrete.. Most people that were getting sideways will need a new clutch, diff, or at least 2 new tyres :P As i said, if i wanted to get it messy in the dry with those tyres, i'd need a turbo, or i'd need to not care about blowing something up 350km's from home..

Next time the 195 kanyang stockies will make an appearance..

speedway, meaning gravel? not a road type surface?

what cars was he up against?

Speedway is a compacted moist clay rich dirt, not gravel...

20 seconds is damn quick on a speedway track!

Funniest part of this day was yags telling us all that all the people going around the set track were going the wrong way as it turns out yags was the only goose who went the wrong way lmao.
