i think I'd go through all the cars Ive ever wanted and start from the top. First stop would be a more recent example, an FG FPV Super Pursuit, 5.4 removed, 5.0S thrown in...

I'd buy a falcon and pay someone to mod it into a hatch or wagon.

All car guys have these discussions amongst their friends
Definitely a 911. But which one has me scratching my head 911 Turbo or 911 GT2 I know there are faster Porsches around a track but I want the ridiculous excess that is offered by twin turbos. |

Euro or Local is an interesting thought, even though thius thread has turned into a 'what car would you buy if you had lots of money' thread! If you were as rich as Markus Persson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markus_Persson) for the same sort of reason as he, you could bankroll a local car mob for a while.
Otherwise, I'd buy a Tesla without a second thought, which is neither local nor euro! |

Think I'd be hard pressed to go past a GTR. Few mods and they'll beat most of the Euros, but won't cost as much to maintain. Would love an original GT40 too.

Full house Audi A8 TDI as a daily
Bentley Continental GT3-R just for pose value 2 HQ kingswoods - 1 factory 253 4 spd in original condition and another identical looking sleeper with an outrageously powered modern drive train just for fun.

I wouldn't know where to start. Everytime I see a classic in a different paint/interior combo I want it. I couldn't even afford to have my dream car collection made up of Biante's. But If I was loaded to the hills, the first imports I would get would be hunt down all our classic muscle that has slipped overseas, and bring it back home, just because I could. I'd offer them a price they couldn't refuse. They would take my money, hand the keys over and cry at the same time. If they ever looked up the word regret, they would see a picture of me driving their classic around Bathurst.

I would definitely consider Euro, but so far my Jap Liberty GT has been awesome. It will be hard to beat. The only reason I wold go Euro is for the '******' factor, and while that is all well and good to say 'look at me I have a [insert Euro brand here]' The servicing and repair costs are higher than my jap car.

I'd have a bit of everything. Probably the only Euro I'd buy would be the Merc E63 AMG Wagon - pre-2013 facelift, I think they ruined it.
Plenty of Americans, Challenger, Mustang, Raptor, classics too. And loads of Aussie cars, XR onwards, particularly XB, and lots from EB onto AU. I'd love lots of nice optioned AUs, like Fairmont wagons, XR8s, TE/TS, TL.....mmmmmm! Victory gold or Emperor red FG-X XR8! I'd rebuild my wagon too, probably go for a colour change, slot in a mildly worked 5.0L Windsor and strengthened auto! I'll end up a collector if I had that much money! If suddenly became disgustingly rich........ hmm mm , I'd probably rebuild the the AU back to pristine condition ....... then build an 8000 rpm engine with a big turbo on it........ next on the list would be a bare metal rebuild for my ls400 back to pristine completely stock.......... while my other two limos are being redone in my new work shop....... I'd probably get a GT and a new top of the line landcruiser.
On the other hand I may go the way of scrooge and get myself a beat up 62 falcon with some recaps and the exhaust dragging on the ground and hoard every cent☺. |

How rich we talking? List could be endless.
But I'd buy a GTF, white, black stripes, might even buy DJ's if it was still for sale, just because I could. FG X XR8, because its the last and i'd modify the hell out of it. Would share the daily duties. XY GT just for the collection. RS6, current spec. Daily duties, and somewhere to put the dogs. Supercar/hypercars don't do it for me, something about a big engine and four doors, but that could change if I was ever filthy rich. Oh, and I'd buy the missus a car. Probably a Rangie, or a Q5, or a X6....seems to be what rich folks buy their other half. |

If I am that rich I would give all the regulars here 100k to build a Ford of their choice for some awesome track days.

A new FGX Falcon would do me , and perhaps a pristine 67 XR GT, like the one featured on Man and machine recently, fitted with an ex Dick Johnston V8 Supercar engine, would be nice. It could keep the XM company in the monster garage that I would have built.

My garage would look a lot like Jay Leno's. If it were the choice of one exotic or multiple nice closer-to-ordinary cars, I would choose the latter. I also really want a plane.

I just remembered I would also build a MK1 Escort, running an F6 engine and sequential holinger box.

I may be veering away from the OP but I would also use the money left over to buy a mountain a recreate an exact replica of the Bathurst track except it would have a 5 acre wave pool in the centre for the female nudist colony that I would supervise when not driving around my track.
