In the aussie stake's there's no comparison to Holly Valance. Altho aside from 1800 reverse ads, she's not really a mug on tv these days...
Portia de rossi IIRC is an aussie but dunno if she counts being on arrested development (brilliant show btw)

Natalie Brasingthwaite (spelling) never jumped out of the Neighbours adds for me, but in the Rogue Traders clips and the Skyshow here damn she fine. I have mentioned the Getaway girls like Catriona Rowntree, Jennifer Hawkins, Laura, maybe Shelley, and the others. (Ever seen the channel 7 HDTV display loop over and over in a TV store? Oh yeah - watch out for them boobies) I remember Madeline West - she walked in front of a bus and got skittled. No its not funny - she got messed up bad and had lots of surgery. She'll always be a stunner, but apparantly her "natural beauty" or what she percieves it as, is no more. Thus, sadly, no longer on our screens. Mmm Blue Heelers girls - well, some of them. Livinia Nixon, she was awesome as a girl next door, but all dressed up on Temptation she's a sensual treat, but hasn't got that factor I liked about her in jeans on Hey Hey and other shows. Leah McLeod was mentioned - I've actually met her a few times. And her crazy sister - not worthy of this particular thread, but boy is she wierd. Ooh yeah Portia de Rossi - and yes a good show. |

Re: Ringo - My parents had a mutual friend long before they were married, who a few years ago married Rosemary McLeod (woman on Telstra "call cannot be connected" recordings etc., and mother of Leah and Sara; also used to run a modelling academy in Adelaide) this is my only connection to their fame - though yes they are every bit as pretty close up, and actually fantastic people to talk to. Though with regards to the wierd/scary thing, Sara is - ummm - "unpollished" shall we say? Nothing girly or cute about her - a typical hot-rock-chick I guess. She's got that hardcore tomboy thing going on, while her sister (no less strong a personality) is far more effeminent. |
