I think I like taking holidays when the kids are at school, so I can be sure they're taking a healthy lunch with them, and make sure the homework is done twice :

Oh, don't forget to check out the teachers... opinion of how your kids are doing...

This CAN be important in some circumstances, but be prepared to be scared!

Well Casper while you enjoy your 4 days off, I will have to settle for 3. I do feel for the people who have to work. Oh well no rest for the wicked. :

True, sorry Shane, but 4 is more than 3 the last time I checked.

Its ok.. I like my job anyhow. Not many jobs I know of that tolerate employee's "cracking it" and going home. I've done that a few times now

I have 19 weeks annual leave.

I'm never going to take it, but I have it.

I have just put in for 3 and a half weeks leave .... well it's my wedding and honeymoon all in one really ... and some time afterwards to sit around and do nothing really before I come back to work.

Mind you ... I have taken 2 days off work before (which works out to a week and a bit off .... yeah i am a shiftworker) so I can work at my second job to make even more money .... crazy .... YES ... bank account ... much healthier for it.

Mind you I work back to back job ... one is a rotational 12hr/day day/night shift work role ... the other one is call on when I am free to work of a morning ... and they keep me busy driving a minimum of 10 hours around Sydney a day (earning a minimum of $200 a day).

But i can tell you i am really looking forward to the honeymoon ... 7 days of sitting on Hamilton Island in the sun (I hope) drinking ...
