Gees Falcman0o7, is that your piece of rock? It's a beauty. Looks pretty solid.
I've seen a couple of Tektites, my ex wife's old man kept a couple. But other than the rocks in the Museum of WA, I haven't got to see many meteorites.

Maka, not to sure what you seen, but I'm certain it was unrelated to the Russian show.

Thanks for that Madaya, i didnt think it was the Russian meteor. I was wondering if it was the asteroid but i'm not sure what i saw but it definately had a single tail & was roughly in the same spot for the two days i observed it. The vapour trail wasnt that long either. Anyway what a fascinating subject!

Wish it was mate! worth good coin, makes me wonder, I found a chunk of lead metal type rock in karoola tasmania here. Always wanted to know what it is...found it in 1995
