Seems even hotter today, car read 46 at 1pm and hasn't helped by hot northerly winds... as I type from air conditioned comfort.

Left the house to go out, its still over 40, sod that. Safely back at home now in 24.5 degree comfort.

Man it was super hot in Sydney today and my EF XR6 held up very well with aircon on and only went half way :-)

Then the temp drops off ... As it has...

Btw going by records.. In the early 1900's temps where higher !!

I went over to help some mates in case they had to evacuate but we didn't have to thank god. Awesome effort by the fire fighters and volunteers over there. Was a pretty cool sight driving home 2am between Rylstone and kandos you could see the orange glow and flames in the distance.

We here in Merriwa had mid 40s for a few days in a row during the heat spell. I went to Wauchope / Port Macquarie last week and it was mid 30s but humid as hell and I almost died. Give me a stinking hot 45 degree dry heat anyday!
