The morgan 4/4 holds the Guiness World record (from my 2003 edition) of the worlds oldest car still in production. It had a brief break during WWII and from 1951-1955, but the body has been approximately the same from 1935-present. Ash frame on steel chassis with hand beaten aluminium panels.
I'm not sure what the current price is in Australia but no doubt it's HORRENDOUSLY high. Also...the waiting list is currently about 11 years... |

F-Series is 1948 - current. Started with the F-1, F100, and so on. F150 was introduced in the 80s.

Its gotta be the beetle. Most of the cars named in this thread have undergone shape changes, whereas the beetle hasn't changed its shape since it started life. If your talking about unchanged producion, thats gotta be it. They only recently stopped making the beetle.

Land Rover Defender doesn't count as a nameplate, It wasn't called Defender until the late 1980's or early 1990's before that it was simply none as Land Rover. The Beetle does hold the record for the longest running nameplate but is no longer in production, technically the new one is called New Beetle. While obviously Falcon isn't the oldest (therefore neither is the younger mustang or corolla) I would say it would be F series, been around since the 40's (although technically not a car, but a light truck)
