Yeah, Buffalo Bills disappeared for a few years.. then came back HARD!
Another noteworthy re-entry to the tasty little treats of my youth was when Toobs came back about 2 years ago. This world just keeps getting better & better. |

Then they disappeared. When I had them again, they were nice, but I prefer Twisties (especially stale ones - beaut!). I want Cheez-Ums Pringles back. They were kick botty-boo! (filter doesn't allow use of the A word).

The closest equivilent to the monaco bar is the Streets icecream cookies, but two chocolate cookies with a creamey vanilla center makes me bar up more.

Hi Torxteer and others
I've had this discussion somewhere before People claim that in some states they were marketed as Buffalo Bill but in others they were Bubble-O Bill. I maintain that i have never seen buffalo bill, but only Bubble-O Bill, as I remember they were ALWAYS Bubble-O, due to the bubble-gum nose!

I was down at phillip island a few months back picking up a fishing license at the milkbar. While I was waiting I saw bubbl-o bills in teh freezer! I had to have one! It brought back so many childhood memories
Toobs are back too! I'll have to give the monaco bar a go. |

Isn't Buffalo Bill the physcho from 'Silence of the lambs'? It would seem weird to name a ice cream after him! |

What were those tasty little suckers that were like a Choc Wedge but had a solid chocolate core? Might have been a Double Choc? Anyway, they should come back too... we should get something done about this.

The monaco bar is old school and not a bad ice cream but nothing and I mean nothing can beat the honeycomb maxibon. Its a cousin to the monaco bar as half of it is biscuit. Do your self a favour!!!!!!
Definately bubbulo bill, the ice cream was awesome but the bubble gum nose was the cheapest nastiest bubble gum you could find. Went hard after about 4 chews. Still waiting for barney banana to make a return! Last edited by Cabbage; 19-11-2008 at 12:50 AM. |

Does anyone remember the transformer ice-cream with the bubblegum stick? I think it would have been late 80's..

Never had a Monaco bar before.
More of a Maxibon fan also. Even though they disappeared for a while there too eh?
