Do what I do. Get cans. Cans rock. And if they explode, they make less mess. Cans also fit real good in the drink holders in the car....caffeine on the move...

So, on your logic, you'd only drink beer from long necks, yeah? You MAN you! He he.

How many noses does he have? You had best cut down on some of the GM foods in that fridge. ;)

Also equally annoying is when i drive dad's car to work - my locker key is on my keys, so if i forget to take them i cant get into the bloody thing.
I have had the same thing happen when I was working at a supermarket. Missed the shelf, only just, but enough to send a 2lt bottle of coke catapulting like a missile backwards up the aisle floor, spraying coke as it went.

Missed a customers feet, only just, then hit the fridge at the other end and kind of exploded. Lucky it was nearly closing time.

ahh, the benefits of being a senior

Hahaha used to have that problem when I was younger, used to come straight out the nose lol but after years of experience it all comes down to defensive swigging;
1, when grabbing bottle feel for pressure.
2, undo cap with caution
3, when raising bottle to mouth CHECK that there are no objects to hinder motion of quenching thirst ie: fridge door, shelves etc.
4, when finished engage cap back to bottle
5, and the most important for those annoying visitors or those who choose to take without asking...shake the living shit out of the bottle before putting back in fridge.

you can usualy only fit 2 cans in the cup holders in a car... and you can also fit 2 600ml bottles of coke... 750ml of coke or 1.2l of coke... i would choose the 1.2L

and btw... i dont drink beer... e

I was at the drags (nitro funny car meeting 27th dec at kwinana) with one of my mates and his 2 lads, they're always hungry so I asked them to grab 4 chicken rolls and some drinks, they come back with some coke and sprite, the lad gives the coke to me and the sprite to his old man, I had a bit of a gut ache so I swapped with my mate and took the sprite, Ben (the lad) had a very queer look on his face which went away when I put the sprite in my bag and ate the chicken roll, then 5 mins later I reach for it, crack the top and you guessed it, sprite everywhere...pants, bag, tshirt .......... little barstard tried to get his old man but got me instead. Got him back by spilling the next one down his back - he didn't like the sticky tshirt either.

Oh yes, always a joy that one. Thanks for reminding me.

Still, better than when they think it would be good to paint the walls with it. At that point I lose it, if it wasnt for Mrs Casper taking charge of the situation I could well just shut the door and pour a large scotch while I fire up the fire hose.

Done that many times at my work too... luckely we have dedicated cleaners to clean up the mess ("it was like that when i got here", is a good excuse).

The one and only nightfill shift I ever did I lost half a pallet of 30pk cans.
I didn't know the pallet jack was gonna trip when i pulled it over the floor strippng.

The company I work for is too cheap to pay for store cleaners during the day now.

I just have accidents with coke full stop!! I hate the stupid post mix containers at subway.... the lids dont want to stay on! As i experienced in front of sparkles today! I usually hold the tops of them... and as the top squeezed off... coke went everywhere!! i was tipping it out of my hand bag!! there was such a mess. We moved tables lol, ah just giving the cleaners something to do!! :dr_Evil:

And i am with xrchic, go the cans!! I just prefer the taste, there not as overly fizzy, from the bottle it feels like burning!! I prefer my coke without the feeling that its really carbonated acid!! lol.

I take a coke with me wherever I go just incase where I'm going don't have any. The coke addiction is a bad thing (not good for the diabetes) but I'm not a big fan of coffee I must admit. I can't function without a coffee in the morning but that's the only one I'll have. Lol with one of my friends, as soon as she opens the door she's passing you the mug. Oh and out of curiosity, am I the only one that refuses to drink the 'bits'? You know, that last ¼ in the bottle??
