Maybe the fact that most Russian's have dash cams has skewed the average. I think 50% of YouTube is Russian dash cam footage of crashes and/or road rage!

You dont need a high quality cam for it to help in a crash. I have a cheapy (relatively, at $50) Gator cam from supercheap, and its already saved me a $400 excess (zip merge, car behind drove into my rear bumper)
Last i heard he was still fighting it in court, but not my problem now as insurance are taking him to court. Quote:
