Haha I am in the same boat - I "think" I know what you're talking about.

I called and confirmed our 12 spaces today, and will send off a cheque soon, I'll PM you guys about paying too. No lining up and mucking around with money on the day and having our own area = gold!!

To everyone supporting our club on this day - brilliant work guys, I'm proud!

Absolutely, good spirit!

It'll be the one year anniversary of your car (and the Cougar) to the club also!

Uni, just a note as to why I couldn't include you in the list. The show organisers don't like it much when cars leave early, so while you're certainly welcome to come along until 11, we can't get your car up with the club display area unfortunately!

We certainly still want you to come and say hello and be involved! :eclipsee_

Spectators do have to pay, I think it's $2 or $2.50 entry, goes to Westmeads Childrens Hospital as well. So much to see at the day, I know Ford will have their performance range there too.

Just an update on paying, guys, so far I have three people having paid. One didn't put their name on the direct debit transfer details so I don't know who it is, sent on the 14th Jul with the details FORDDAY. PCPerfection and Lotsy are the other two who have paid.

If anyone else can get $20 to me soonish, either via money order or direct debit, that'd be helpful - thanks!

To pay remaining (one of these has already paid but just needs to let me know who):

I've almost got our club display finished, in other news, which is coming along well.

I have informed Tim that I will be taking the 12th spot. I am planning something big for the day and regardless, I'll be bringing a car sized awning, probably the same as what Tim has. I will be driving up from Melbourne on Saturday and hanging out with you all on the Sunday hopefully in something very special indeed. It will be more of a Eurofordclub Support vehicle than a genuine Euroford, but it will pull a shed load of looks. If my plans don't pull through, I'll bring my own Euroford, the mighty Zetec. I'll also bring a few Team RS hats that members can buy for $10 each, all proceeds going to JDRF - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a charity that Ford sponsors (and the reason I have so many caps to sell!). Most of the Vic guys have one and it's a really cool Team RS blue Rally cap. Very nice and not available publicly anywhere, no longer being made either.

I'll confirm on Monday for you all, but I wouldn't miss this for the world! Just have to confirm I can get the Monday off work to make it a long weekend so I can drive home on the Monday. Stay tuned...

Matt - Great news to have you coming up (hopefully). As much I would like to see whatever it is you're bringing, seeing your Zetec again would be a good sight as well!

I've finished the club history display, the club flyers, and as Damian suggested, I have made up some eurofordclub.com number plate covers, for those that want them on the day.

A quick thank you to all the club members that have paid so far, I appreciate it.

Within the next few days, I'll have a map and details up of where we will meet up for the day, and a comprehensive listing of who is bringing what.

Gonna be a great day out!

All this news is too much!! I'm off the the N.T. on Wednesday night and it's a damn shame that I'll miss out on all your good work Timmeh. Have a good day and take plenty of photos please.

BTW I expect the Classic Ford Club (with whom I went on a recent Cruise) will have a display and if EUROFORDCLUB members can wander down to look at some of their members' Cosworth Fords they've got some great cars.

I'm officially in, I'll be coming up from Melbourne on the Saturday and returning on the Monday. I'll bring either my own Zetec or a special support vehicle (still confirming the support vehicle) and I'll bring a Car Tent as promised, along with some Team RS Hats and maybe even some Team RS Jackets too for $40 each (All XL sized unfortunately) again with proceeds going to Juvenile Diabetes Research.

Can't wait!!!!!

Money has been transferred Timbo.

Final Details!!!!

Date: 6 Aug 06

Time: 6.30am meetup for a 6.50am departure (yeah it's an early one but there is a McDonalds at the meetup point)

Meetup Point: Krispy Kremes Liverpool, in the Megacenta Liverpool, on the Cumberland Highway (otherwise known as 2-20 Orange Grove Road, it's all part of the Cumberland Highway, the purple number 7). For those coming from the north or south, just get onto the Cumberland and follow it to Krispy Kremes, easy as.

The red arrow is Krispy Kremes on the Cumberland. The green arrow is the route we will be taking to the venue, at the orange arrow.

What to bring:

- A clean car.
- Any cleaning products you may want to use once you get there as well. We found last year that those dust mitts worked well, but this year we should be somewhere where dust isn't a massive issue.
- A clipboard for your quiz - try to bring one as it will make your life alot easier.
- A hat, can be a long day in the sun without one.
- Sunscreen, be sunsmart.
- Cash if you don't want to pack your lunch.
- Lunch if you don't want to pack your cash.
- Foldable chair to sit on in our marquee (or non foldable if you so desire, but foldable are easier).

Optional:

- Drinks to put in our esky of ice. They will have vendors there if you couldn't be stuffed.
- A camera.
- A jumper in case it's a cold day (at 7am it is likely to be cold - do I sound like your mum yet?).
- UHF radio if you have one.
- Bacon or sausages for the small morning BBQ if desired, no good for eggs though. Again vendors are available if you could not be bothered, and McDonalds will be at the meetup point for brekky.
- Bring cards if you think you may want to have a game or two with friends there.
- A box of tissues for if you don't win a prize.
- Whatever else you feel you may want on the day. Drugs, alcohol, sex and rock & roll are not things you need on the day.

Individual members are bringing (and won't forget!):

Todd: Special suprises, small BBQ for morning food
Timmeh: 2x club marquees, 1x club history display, club flyers, club number plates, 4x Ford flags, 2x Australian flags, 1x club banner, 1x huge esky, prizes and awards, an Escort rally car
Damian: A card table
Lotsy: Poles and rope to mark off our area

------------------------------------------------

Don't forget, everyone that attends gets a showbag and also a Eurofordclub certificate of attendance, and there are many good awards and prizes on offer.

It's just going to be a fantastic day!

Timmeh

Yeah the rain sucks... I had to do all my trailer electrics and brakes testing today after restoring the trailer for this trip in the pouring rain, in between coats of paint on the rally car rollcage.

It's supposed to clear for Sunday - this is Sydney for goodness sake, it can't rain long enough to make any difference surely!
