I'm sorry to hear that, i cant even imagine how gut wrenching it would be to lose your pride and joy that you have spent so much time and effort on. All the best with the EA and glad to hear you came through reletively unscathed.

My god Joe I never would have expected to see this today... It's a damn shame mate and I'm sorry for your loss, but you're all ok and that's all that matters really. When you're ready to get back in an e-series we'll all be there to give you a hand mate!

Hey Joe, I am shattered to hear about what happen after all the work that has gone into it as well. I had a message from Grant saying you were in an accident last night and I didn't believe it. If I had known last night I would have come down straight away to the scene. I am just glad that you are fine and didn't get seriously hurt. Like others say Cars can be replaced and people can't. Good luck and I hope you get another daily ASAP and the EA turbo on the road aswell. If you need any assistance I am willing to help out a good bloke like yourself :(

Man that sucks. For all the work you put in to it and how it was looking man, and to end it like this is a shame mate.

Got any pics of the damage?

it will buff out ?

Chuck the extracters and stuff on the EA and **** the turbo **** off untill you can afford to do it properly. It would be better in the long run. As everyone else said atleast you are ok, EB's are a dime a dozen, people that jump really high in the air arn't.

That's like the best idea ever.

You can never do turbo stuff on the cheap Joe. If you don't have the cash you need (you will always know how much you need) then just dump you good bits on the EA and thrash it.

i have cash now to do it what i want to it now, just need to figure out what i need to get for it, which is prity much figured out, but you guys do make a good point, atm thow i think ill go the way of a new daily because i cant see myself driving the EA to work everyday, and after whats happened, im not going to just jump out on the streets with the foot down anyway...

Not good news there mate. At least your ok and can venture on to build an even better e-series!
I feel for your pain for losing the car. I'd be a wreak! I love my car heaps, as we all do.

What's wrong Pat? Scared that the recently-applied acrylic will react badly with your hand moisturiser?

Joe, if possible, get a cheap buzzbox like a Laser as a daily (arab drift! : ) using money from the EB parts sold? That way you can keep on working on the EA...

Or return the EA to stock in the meantime as Sunny mentioned

I would say its because everyone who was out that night knows exactly how slippery it really was...

I was cruising at 100km/h, and gently accelerated to overtake another car, and the rear end stepped out on me... My car is gutless with a shagged LSD!

So I am not at all suprised that it caught a few people out... unfortunantly, Joe was one of the victims.

Shame to hear about it especially after all the work you put into it. Good to see that you are okay

And yeah the roads are crazy now after just a shower, i did some crazy rear end slides around a couple of roundabouts a few weeks ago with no throttle! And i wasnt trying. or maybe it was just because Scumbury sucks :P
