Like the others have said Danny, very sad to see you part with the EF. Was indeed one of the finest EF/ELs I have ever seen. All the best with your new purchase.
Regards, Julza

All the best, it must of been really hard to make the decision. Your car actually made me want to sell mine, and get a manual EF/EL.
Cheers goodluck with it.

The Final Hours......
Its hit me now, I'm feeling pretty shitty. I found some Steelies for the car. Taking off the wheels and putting them aside along with the E series vinyls I had on the rear windscreen was a bit sad... But heres what the car looks like in my garage at the moment... Wasn't a happy cahppy driving home on those steelies today...... Update on the new car. I will be lookingat a 2001 proton Satria GTi tonight or on wednesday. Least they're sorta a nice car, already with wheels and bodykit factory standard. Hopefully that will make me a bit happier if i get one of those. Cheers -Dan |

i could never sell my car...
i am going to have a massive garage and keep them all, and sneak them out for a strap every now and then, cuz i dont think i could afford to register a number of cars over many years... i think i would go into a deep depression if my baby was gone... i might go out to the carpark now and give it a rub...

Sad to see it go!! It really was one of the best looking EF's I've ever seen. One day I'd love my EF to look something like that, but the condition of the paint lets it down a bit. Hope you get some new wheels soon!

Danny, danny, danny..... :
You talked about it mate, but i'd never thought you'd go through with it. Guess i was wrong :( Hopefully whatever car you get next will treat you well, because if the EF was anything to go buy, your next car will be pampered for sure. And bugger me, it still looks mean with stockies!!! |

The first thing i thought when i saw it had the stockies on was 'f@ck it looks tough with the ol steelies'. Im gonna go out and chuck some stockies on lol
Unfortuneatly i might have to go through the same process in a few months if i end up going over seas next semester and sell my car before hand, being the first car makes it all the more special. |

It looks tough like that. Where is the guy from Danny? Am I likely to see it being driven around this area?

Hehe, the old trick of putting steelies on to make it look lower. Doesnt need to do that in this case, but it actually does look rather tough. Woulda been better if the steelies were chrome tho.
Im not a fan of Proton admittedly but the Satrias look like a good little car, and as you said they can look pretty good with the kit and the rims. There's one here i see pretty often which is actually the colour of your EF, and it looks a bit different to your average small car, which is a good thing. Having never owned or driven in one i have no idea what they're like on the inside or mechanically though.

just got back from test driving one
They are a fine little car, quick, and handle like a knife! Interior is a little basic but they get power everything, alarm etc and leather recaro seats. I'm a big fan of that! |

i dont mind the protons, ive read some things about them, but i for one have not ever seen a proton broken down anywhere ever, nor have i ever seen a smokey one. they are pretty much a "recycled lancer" anyway, so the quality is there. should do you well danny |
