Could you make the c pillar black too. And go for say some GTP's or AU XR8's.

those make me think of commodores actually.

i like the colour coded bumpers and side molds tho. might be a mod i try in future if i can do it at low cost.

i went to repco today and noticed they have spray cans of paint in the correct colour for my car for $10
anyone used these sort before? do they do a good job or only good for minor touch ups?

I wouldn't use them on a whole bumper, you wold need 3-4 cans and they dont give the best finish...IMO

Go to a automotive paint shop and get them to make you up a spray pack in the correct colour, the colour code of your car can be found on the ID tag in the engine bay.
They turn out pretty good. Theres also this $40 clear out that can be used on acrylic paints but it comes out like 2 pack, its called Smart Clear or something along those lines. This clear comes in a tin and needs a spray gun and air compressor.

Today I had perrows paints make me up 2 cans of P2 Marine Blue and tomorrow I'm going back to buy the clear tomorrow, I'll be doing my whole front bumper including the lip and grey strips, I'll also be doing the rest of the grey strips plus my door handles and mirrors. Hopefully it comes out really good. Watch my build thread for updates and pics.

Perrows make it up for $22 a can, its a little bit more expensive than the stuff from supercheap but it also matchs your colour a lot better.

really now? where was that. i was only about from 4.30 to 4.45 and like 6. and straight out of town :P

im thinking i might look a bit more into colour coding the bumpers. changing the pinstripe, and paint up the black stuff and make it fresher. i do love that chop as well

rims will never happen tho. im to poor. :(

main reason for doing some painting stuff. is it makes a big difference but with not a huge amount of money.
