Being new here i dont mind how it appears to me, the main thing is we will all use this site for one purpose. Henries Fords that is the main thing that is what we all have in common no matter what our individual thoughts are on something, example some people like T models more than say a BA falcon and vise versa, but they are still fords. Either way i will except either outcome. Me i like cars with steel bumpers and glass headlights and anything that smells like it is running on the old super fuel, not this perfume enhanced fuel of today.

I think the old way at this stage 'Russ" but I'm relatively new to this forum so my 2c worth may have little impact on the outcome on this. But as mentioned people are creatures of habit therefore change can take sometime to get used to.To most members the old way will most likely be the most favourable. But to be fair I think the new way needs more time so we can make a fairer assessment.

Cheers
Grahame

I slightly prefer the old way, but I am so tepid about the issue that I will abstain from voting. If someone is wildly passionate one way or the other I think that their vote should count far more than my very mildly interested one.

Thanks for giving me the chance and choice to vote, but it's not needed in my case.

It's simply:

Old way: after refreshing your UserCP, you have a short window to see which subscribed threads have been replied to, and if you walk away and come back a little later, refresh again they'll disappear

New way: each subscribed thread which has been replied to will stay bold until you read it

new way - far more sensible

The old way works for me, but its great that you've given the forum the option of deciding. So many technological communities just assume they know whats best for their clientele.

Old way or new way....Doesn't bother me.....However general consensis here is, some are too lazy to click a single button to stop old threads popping up, hence wanting the old way.

BTW, I voted the new way and I'm still on dial up internet, so it takes longer for things to load up...

Old people don't know how.

We evolve as much as we need when it comes to using a computer. Once we know how to print something, that is all we need. Need to add a printer, blahblahblah! lol

Edit, Went looking and found. Seems simple enough!
