The National Anthem was decided by a referendum.
Any changes to any of the words should also be decided this way.... Full Stop.

when it already states in the same song we are from the same country (even tho its named australia) which in stating we are australian denotes "we are one" already in the song

so should we change the names of everything as they state we were also one large continent prier to the tectonic plates shifting
I could have worded it better but:
I didn't say 'Australia' is offensive, it has meaning. My point was just because it states 'we are australian', you said that was enough.

As you mention, you are ok with the change. I assume it will some people out there a little happier/included/thought about

it already has "we are australian" implementing we are one
surely they have better things to do/need to be done and i wonder how much for this useless change did it cost us $$
i dont know where i said i was ok with it
definitely not this post
as i stated my view that i disagree with what they've done and didnt believe they had the right to do so
but hey its ok you see what you want

Well, you offend me, so even though I'm a minority of one, you need to shut up.
That's how it works, yes?

I am just sick to death of this ****. How about we expend the time, money, and effort to fix things that actually need fixing.

There are substantial Indigenous Communities, mostly remote regional, that remain disenfranchised. Mired in poverty and social dysfunction, struggling with substandard services and infrastructure.
More useless words, by useless Canberra Bureaucrats, are not going to help.

I did post that I should have worded that post better, have a read.
It was about the words in the anthem.
