Oh dear God. This light bulb above my computer desk blew last night while I was wasting time on AFF and I’ve been to lazy to change it.

Can anyone out there please give me some technical advice on how to do this? Should I change it to a HID or a Xenon globe?

Any advice welcome.

No offense Full Noise but that set up just has way to much gold bling for me. Needs to be chromed, but each to their own i guess.

That and the fact it has a new improved V10!

Also - 1 small group wishing to have their own area to discuss their own
"Stroker-Series" of globes and bag out anything built after it as the company changed names.

I'll have to make a reminder note in my diary, but I sure as hell will be happy to be that person in six months

Just kidding.

Anyway, I loved it. Good work.

Thats it!
I'm not buying light bulbs from my usual manufacturer anymore if there changing to that configuration.....

It's just not right....The old design is an icon and should remain.
The old design was much smoother,
They say this configuration may be more powerful but it might just be all torque.

Follow the manufacturers instructions carefully, NEVER use anything than that specified by the manufacturer, otherwise dulling of the reflectors will occur thus reducing output. Aftermarket or high output bulbs should only be used where specified otherwise you may startle the oncoming dining room light when the adjoining door opens with potential catastrophic results.

And one member to recall seeing the old style of bulb back in 1974, they were 'real' bulbs back then and all newer bulbs are soft by comparison.
