mate i think it's the other way round. as i said earlier my grandfather was saying 'nuts' 40 years ago [and my granma would up him the rent for it].cheers.

Maybe they did but i have the AUSSIE version and its friggin GUTS.

IMO it can be either, which one is correct I don't know, but is could be possible that saying ducks guts could just be a politically correct version to use instead of ducks nuts.
