My car rarely, if ever, gets noticed. Suits me just fine that way too. I prefer it to blend in and be less of a target for meatheads, police and "wowsers" who think any car with an exhaust belongs to a psycotic hoon.
Only compliments it gets come from those on the forum that know the car. Oh, and anyone who see's the scuff plates, without fail, is blown away by them.

Mine doesn't really draw too many comments from randoms. I have had someone lean out the window and say "nice rims mate!", he had AJR signatures though so i said the same! I do get alot of people pulling up next to my car at the lights and pointing to my wheels, not sure if it's good or bad LOL.
Oh, and when it was lower on average 1 person a week said, "shit man, that thing is DUMPED, it looks nuts!"

Most of my compliments have been just things like "that's not bad condition", and when I say it has just done 200,000 they're like "it's only just run in". Some police even told me it was a nice car when I was pulled over for speeding. Most of the other compliments are for the digital speedo. Also, I have blue checkerplate floor mats, which combined with the standard underdash globes really light up at night. One person saw them and said "Wow - you even have neons!" Not quite! But generally people ignore the car because it's pretty stock!

I get quite a few looks from people, I dont know if there good or bad looks though lol. People always comment on how everyone looks at their car, I always look at every car but am generally thinking to myself how ugly it is! Just because someones looking at you doesnt mean they like it :P

BITD (back in the day) when I had the turbo's and cooler hanging out the bar I used to get looks at comments all the time....the best is when I'd get Commodore drivers and their mates coming over at the servo to have a look, or when they'd see me driving and speed up past me then stick their head out the window and turn back to their mates grinning cause they saw the cooler lol!

with thanks to king springs amazing ability to sag when more than 1 person is in the car i usually get 'man thats slammed'.
one time that does stand out, wasnt a compliment or anythign but funny still was a guy in his fully sick, off tap, neon enhanced, cat back sports exhaust equipped bread knife soundin commodore v6 sayin and i quote, 'thats the first ford ive lost too, but i screwed my launch other wise id have beaten u'. so we go aganin at the next set of lights, he looses again get to the next set of light and he wont pull up next to me. damn commos. |

Someone once gave praise to my car. So much infact, I felt obliged to give them a lift home. Then when they got out of my car, they ran off saying "suckerrrrrrrrrr"

Lotta people i know who, in all honesty, dont know much about tuning domestic cars... tend to get a bit excitied at the sound of a supercharged V8, despite the fact that iot isnt that powerful.
But my car's way too ugly to receive compliments.

Mine got the best comments from you guys after A: last years dandenong and observatory cruise (my first one), and B: AFter I got the bodykit fitted to it.
The best complement was when you guys asked me to use the car to show off at the werribee Supercheap Auto day (i know it never came to fruition but meh), and when you nominated mine (along with stevo and doug at the time) as one of the nicest e-series Falcons in the club. Off the internet, almost any p plater driving an e series falcon (i even had the odd commodore comment nicely on its looks), would give me a wink and the thumbs up, or come over to talk about the car to which i was happy to oblige. I had people from round my area who knew the car and used to ask me about it all the time and how it was cuz they saw it parked outside the pub. People used to stand up to look at it wen i arrived at work or anywhere for that matter, just the sound and look and people knew it was manual when i revved it f*ck i loved it.. Its gone now! arrrrgggh! Im off to have a cry. -Dan |

Comments like, "I don't like Ford's but it's not bad for a Ford" are alright! Also get a few, "Mate, that's sounds insane or awesome note". Mind you my beast only has a 2 and half inch exhaust. No Extractors or anything....... yet. Mind you living in Geelong where it is dominated by the VN V6 heros.
