Same here and I'm sure you will enjoy a car that has been long awaited by many, irrespective to what it can or cannot do the Sprint 6 and Sprint 8 certainly deserve their place in motoring history.

I said from the off that the XR6 Sprint will likely be the quickest Ford ever and in time will also I am sure out-do the XR8 Sprint once the real times are in. I couldn't care less really, I would still have a MKII F6 over a Sprint any day of the week. I just can't possibly imagine walking outside and looking at a Sprint and thinking 'special'

Test accuracy is directly proportional to fanatical satisfaction.

How are we to know - really know - that the 'stock' XR6T is really "stock"? One will never know - only the owner when it comes down to it. Good on him anyway for enjoying his car to the max!

Something not quite right with the official XR6 Sprint specs...

325KWs and 576Nm of torque at the fly (measured using premium unleaded 95 RON)

When standard FGX XR6T has...

270KWs and 533Nm of torque at the fly (also measured on 95 RON)

And FG F6 has...

310KWs and 565Nm at the fly

By comparison the stock FGX XR6T is making more torque per kilowatt than the Sprint or F6.

Is Ford down playing the XR6 Sprint torque spec not to upstage the XR8 Sprint?

Spend $3,000 and a tuned XR6T with 300rwKws (probably 370 at the fly) will have an estimated 670Nm.

Great review by street machine and the first reviews I have seen where there seems to be no mention of seating position
Just a honest how it feels on the road review

. . . and the handling and ride transformation that has accompanied Sprint, how would you emulate that? The authenticity? The character of the engine power delivery? Extra horsepower/torque is easy, just throw money at your local tuning guy - or more money and find a better guy. Taking smoothness, predictability, long term life and WARRANTY along for the ride - like Justin and his team have, is a whole other consideration.

Dude it's a production car, it's always a compromise. Sprint is a stock car and stock cars can always be made better. Power, suspension, brakes, stereo, wheels all could change the sprint from a great car to a outstanding car. And then it would be different from all the rest

Hey to own a sprint all you have to have is money and be first in the queue

Yes they are special, but no different to the next one.

Me I prefer my cars to be one offs, your car won't be the same as mine.
