Before i bargainned, I'd be either going to see it yourself, and taking pictures of everything yourself, then posting them here for us to see, or ask him for proper pictures.

Ask him why he posted photoshopped pictures, and ask him WHY it's in front of a mechanics shop.. it looks too dodgy.

$$$ too high. by about 3k i reckon. he probably spent 12 and he may get it from a young kid with quite limited knowledge on cars.

maybe he works there guys!
it looks good but!
but dave the best thing that you can do is to go and have alook of the car!
and with rims i ve seen before custom el gts 18.s!ask him about the rims!

Shaving the underside of the head slightly increases compression and (potentially) performance. Not exactly a selling point though!

The important this is was the deck done too?

I'm assuming it's due to a h/g...

when u shave ur head increase the compres. as you said but if he shaved he head he changed the h/g too cause you cant put the same one!

The alloy head is far more prone to warping than the iron block, but it is indeed a good idea to have both done. With this kind of effort and coolant maintenance, a gasket should last several hundred thousand kms.
