Guy's I'm sorry but I have to pull out of this one.
Money is certainly a problem as now I've lost both the Internet and the computer (something overheated). If it hadn't been for financial problems I would've attended and perhaps be the "only Fiesta" there :p

That's ok, most of us were students once, except Steve, they hadn't invented school when he was a boy. :

Now look here you young pup.

I was once a poor student at Monash University.....the proper Monash University at Clayton mind you..... not these wannabe Monash Universities at the old Caufield Institute of Technology site , or in the city, or in China, or Online.

No. The proper Monash. And I was bloody poor. No car thankyou very much. Used to hitch to uni. No bloody laptops either. Nor PC's..........didn't exist in my day. (stumbles away muttering something about hot gravel for breakfast).

Helder, my offer of $20 for petrol still stands. (You can drive to Perth and back on $20 in a Fez can't you?)

Cheers dude!!

Il accept the $20 for petrol to pick him up lol

Congrats to Adam and Matt for a great cruise. Top choice of route over the Black Spur to Lake Mountain. And great to see a big turnout. Matt...best numbers yet???

I was glad I could come. At least the car was Euro. Next time Euro AND Ford.

I hung around at the back, and the sight of all those Focus' (and the Mondeo of course!!) all nose to tail was spectacular. The convoy certainly turned a few heads when we went through some of those towns

It was great to see everyone out!! some excellent looking cars!

Im glad i went home the way i did as was an absolute ball!! i dont think the poor XR5's are made for such intence stress. hehe.

We met up with the Renault lads that we saw earlier that morning, and had abit of a spin with them.. wasnt too eventful even though the Megane Turbo was like a lion in a bag... went fairly well.

Should have a few pics up in the next 6 weeks, when i get around to plugging my camera into the PC..

Thanks again for the excellent cruise and the effort gone to mapping out the roads

See you all on the next one!! will have some more XR5's coming along next time. so should be great!!

Luke

Well what can I say, good turnout and weather. Good to see everyone that attended had a good time, I should get a few pictures up shortly. Bit tired from driving today so maybe tomorrow or later on tonight. Thanks to everyone who came and to Justin and Matt who led the way. Hopefully more cars come next time and it was good to meet you all finally.

Thanks for the drive, nice to meet you all! Good weather, good roads, good company, ahh a good life

Luke & I eventually found the OzRenaultSport lads & lasses. The Megane F1s had left, but the rest were there.

Reefton Spur is still a gem of a road!

Phew I'm exhausted! About to hit the hay, but thanks to all for coming, it was fantastic to welcome our 2 Fanta cans along with the club's oldest fuel injected Euroford (doing its best to inject lots and lots of fuel!!!) and even the club's oldest Euroford driver (doing his best to push that poor Audi A4!!!)

Jodie, Shane and Matt, it was great to have you along, a pleasure as always cruising with you. Glad you got to experience a little more of what Princess has to offer around those twisty roads, even if it does shave a few years off the old ticker!! My tyres were so sticky at the top of that hillclimb to Lake Mountain, picked up half the gravel on the way up!!

Looking forward to what I think might have to be a Eurofordclub.com vs FordXR5Turbo.com Go Karting event!!!!!

Raymon, great to finally meet you. Likewise Luke, just go easy on that poor Turbo of yours!!! Both cars looking fantastic there, seriously :eclipsee_

Great day, beautiful weather, fantastic to see partners and families along, it's such a great fun occasion going on a Sunday drive!! Thanks to Justin for leading the way and to Bryce for keeping us in check at the back with Stephen. I too will get photos up in the next couple of days, so stay tuned!

Just need some Fiestas next time!

For the record, that wasn't our biggest event, our biggest ever in Vic was the 2004 Christmas Cruise down the Great Ocean Road or even the Reefton Spur cruise (a similar route) in 2005, but it's fantastic to see the numbers climbing again!!!

Cheers,
Matt

Default Not 56k Friendly....but Who Has 56k These Days?

Well I got off my bum this morning and done a quick photo crop and upload of Sunday's cruise.

Thought I might start off with a video going up to Lake Mountain.
It's 13MB so you might have to wait a while.

Now just general pictures of all the cars together

Picture of the people attending standing around a non Euro Ford??

My LR Focus Zetec

with polished factory alloys

and custom leather seats

Melbzetec looking as mean as he can infront of his Audi A4 (goes better than his Focus Zetec at the moment)
