Hi Tim,

Wow it did suprise me alot. Not only it was a Falcon but the fact it was red. Welcome to the red falcon brigade mate. I'm sure you will be pleased with the big Falc's power and chassis dynamics, they have come leaps and bounds over the years.

Well if anything to go by going by ownership, i can say you won't be disappointed with a Falcon. I bought mine in a similar state to your BA XR, near new low km's and now almost 4 years i'm very happy with my baby.

Thanks Eamon, yeah I was quite attached to the Focus when the time came to sell it, but that's life.

parawolf - Good luck with your sale Hope you get what you want!

Teki - yeah, I know, but I needed a car that could tow my Escorts comfortably and safely. For the money, I couldn't pass up this car.

Chris - I know, bit of a shock to me too. Both the Falcon part and the red part.

I'll still be involved in eurofordclub though! Don't expect me to disappear - I still have my Escorts!

Thanks Gary, I hope to be in the same position as you. And I hope this car is in as good a condition as yours is, yours is certainly the standard!

same sentiments as the rest Timbo......have fun, enjoy and I hope for you that your XR6 gives you as many troubles as your Focus (which was not many at all).

Thanks guys... it sure has alot to live up to, if it's going to eclipse the Focus as the best car I have ever owned, but here's hoping it gives the title a good go....

Yeah, the fog light needs replacing, got demolished by a truck. At least the rest of the car is ok, if that's the worst of my problems then I'm laughing.

Shame to hear about my Focus though...
