It does actually appear to not be closed properly Drew, EFFalcon is right that there seems to be a weird gap... Maybe you didn't shut it properly after taking the bra off... P.S: you better have the bra down and then folded it correctly and put it away properly... OR ELSE ing_sm :evil_laug

I like it, looks awesome and I bet the throttle response is fantastic. I reckon that would go nicely on the Wagon.

well done mate! i like it, especially the last 2 pics of it. i reckon colourcoding it with the silver stripes would make it gel a bit better too and it will match your bumper/side moulds very well then. it would defiently help performance especially on cold nights. nice cold air straight into the manifold and no bends!

yeah the first night i drove it home.....3rd gear from 110! all business!
no more lag! The torque comes on sooner and it is stronger! Im getting the chip re tuned to cope with the extra air. still with the current tune it pushed over 200 hp at the treads. about 151rwkws The air/fuel ratio was screwed up in the higher rev range so when thats fixed watch out.

Hmmm better than I thought. The only thing I could think that would improve it, would be to colour code the silver (side mouldings, bumpers etc) and/or put in thicker side-moulds.
Having better throttle response must be a big bonus

Great job mate. I'd voted to only do it if it's functional, and it certainly sounds like it's functional. Looks cool too.

Looks OK
I don't mind shakers so long as they blend in with the rest of the car and don't look "bolted on". In this case the second EL example looked much better than the first. The angles were better. I like it. I stuck one on my XE ESP despite the cries of sacrilege from many blue bloods and I haven't looked back since. The throttle response is 100% better and there is much better TOP end HP...........and then there's the Induction noise at 4500+ RPM..........

You should see the stuff I've pulled out of the air cleaner assembly !!! Flies , wasps, Dragonflies, and even a cigarette butt from my last trip to the ALL FORD DAY in Geelong. Lucky the K & N does a magnificent job of filtering out all the big and small bits that get sucked in. It's agood idea to tap out all the nasties once a week to keep everything nice and clean. I would never have a car without one now.the difference in the driveability is awesome and I just love the way it shakes on idle when I'm at the traffic lights.........can't see any of that with a POD CAI setup !!!!!!!!!!

you think that is bad for that bonnet.. no way.. it was a $50 special..: but he is thinking about getting it done to his XR bonnet (gawd, I hope not).. While it looks good to me, the thought of his XRs bonnet being cut is just scary :
