Well done
We should be seeing a lot more AU motored cars running good times .. And you doing that with a stock head as well goes to show how good those motors are

again thanks for all the congrats...
there will be a few more soon in the 13's... I would never believe it if you said 2 years ago that my car would have 5 forward gears, 3.9's or 4.11's, AU Motor, and even in the 14's. My car isnt really that quick on the road. Way too much wheelspin and I get killed off the line. No way I could go for a 4000rpm launch.. hehe.. 2000rpm turns to 6000rpm very quickly. here is my timeslip...

Thats bloody awesome man. With just the clutch and lighter flywheel youve taken .4 of a sec off your time? I remember seeing you run the 14.2 and thinking, Bloody hell he must have spent some $$ on that setup. Well done mate.
I will definately vouch for the AU motor. Better comp, bigger valves, faster velocities for the air flow and a bloody strong bottom end. Its good to see some Qld E-series producing the times

See if you can borrow a set of light weight racing wheels, (welds etc....) and knock another 1 or 2 tenths off.

13.8s is fantastic, good on ya. I think I'll be borrowing you again Dan for an AU motor ! : I went out last wednesday and did a 15.4 with a rubbish take off and too much wheel spin. 60 foot time was 2.4 and on my first run it was 2.1 so lets hope i can use that .3 on my end result

i think i might print out a picture of JMM's red EB, and have it pinned to the front of where my car parks... and then my car can stare at it, and get determined to smash it!!!
ohh, and i started having stalling problems on saturday morning, i may have found the reason... i have 3 1/2 ribs on my serpentine belt...

engine, cam and tune - $2000 (tuning so expensive due to problems finding out what was wrong)
clutch and flywheel i think under $500 apart from normal exhaust stuff, i also did buy a new diff in jan, but same ratio as i previously had. i only got a new diff cuz the centre in the other one was not for short diff gears. tyres... well they are the same ones i have had for nearly 2 years... just normal 17's. $135 each...
