Bugger those, my second hand rear lights arrived today and I'm going to attempt the magical amber lense removal, I'm keeping the red lense!
I'am all about killing the amber. Kill the amber, kill it kill it!!

Anyway the clear light look OK. Dont know how it would look on a car though. I wouldov been much happier if they only did the amber indiactors clear. I know you can do it yourself, but cbf. Those lights should come up real good on a black or a red car. |

ordinarily i agree with you...
the EA isn't exactly a square shape... i love the lines of the EA.. over the EB-ED but for some reason that kit appeals to me.. (minus the rear wing) i don't think i like any kit i've seen for EA-ED... altho i didn't mind the MMM kit.. i had on my first EA |

They dont look too bad, they would be better if the brake part was red. Id like to see them in more detail and on a car before I consider them.

ED Fairmont Boot Garnish
Here you go, guys that ***** its hard to get a boot garnish for the ED and EB Monty's, I've just purchased a garnish so I hope it arrives soon. I got me self a Bremel aswell and I'm going ahead to butcher some second hand good looking tail lights in order to remove the amber lense. When I'm finished I'll post up where and how I effed up so others won't. Kill that amber.

One is enough! Dude I won it! That one is another one, I got me self the tools now I need the time to slice and dice and put together my amber-less dream.
All I need is time, but having a second set means no down time for the car and if I stuff up, its all a learning curve. Plus I'll have spares. Its not going to happen over night, but it will happen. But in the mean time I got the cross drilled and slotted DBAs on so I guess its time for those AUII 17's.

That car Rob posted up isnt THAT bad. In fact, I'd go as far to say it's better than 90% of bodykits people put on their early e-series, because almost all (EA/B/D) kits look like f u c k i n g s h i t ... Just needs the door-moulds filled over smooth (minus the chrome) and a decent rear bar.

Meh, each to their own. I don't think it looks that bad at all, i think most people here are getting all worked up simply because it's a holden kit on a ford. I'm sure if that kit was specifically made for the fords then we'd get some different responses. I agree that it doesn't flow INCREDIBLY well but i wouldn't go as far as to say it looks shocking....

i think the green EA looks stupid. simple as that ;)
the Eb/ED with 1/2 a kit looks pretty good, just needs to be 1 colour.
