oh thankyou bucknaked... some awesome pics there....... i was having withdrawal symptoms, but i feel heaps better after seeing those....

I'd be interested in paying you to run off a copy of any video footage you might have recorded if any over the weekend. i know they sell real videos later in the year, but they are shit... i wanna see all the stuff that happens later in the night, and out on the street... We had a blast when i was down there a few years ago... 4 days without barely a wink of sleep.......

If anyone else has video footage of the nats thats into fords, i'd love to see..... please!!!!!!!!!!

l went last year and entered the car and it was packed and a rough crowd to go with it, but it looks like Chic Henry has out done himself this year by keeping the crowd away from the cars that are cruisin the strip if all goes well l think l will be back next year.

Cheers Bucky for the pics brings back so many memories

Hey no probs. Thought you guys who can't make it would like to see some of whats been happening. Only too happy to share.

Most of the other pics I have are of different cars like holdens. I didn't think you guys would be interested in those. Nothing too insane, just a few HSV's plus some pics of a few airbrushed bikes and bonnets, and the usual blurred and ou of focus shots. Pretty cool stuff still.

Last night in Braddon, there was a few drunks causing trouble. Even a fight at the Shell servo. Plenty of police out in forse to keep the order. Today someone decided to light a fire in the thick dry scrub of the general car park. None too impressed as my car was less that 50 metres from the fire that was burning quick. Thankfully 2 fire trucks were on the scene with a minute and had the fire out. I saw a few people making mad dashes to their cars.

Anyway, if I find any more pics of the fords, I'll be sure to post them for you guys.

I don't know why...but...

There is a part of the cruising circuit where alot of people seem to acumilate...50 or so people. Anyway, some people aren't only looking for cars...

Every single time a car would drive past with a girl in it they would all begin to chant etc, all in good fun. But it got a little bit out of hand. One guy reached into a commodre and ripped the girls shirt off...and she was not too impressed...She stepped out of the car, and the crowd instantaniously chased him all the way down to the burnout grandstands :

I think the cops got him before the crowd did. Which is lucky for him...there were 50 or so people after him!

Those gold spokey rims are PIMP MY RIDE STYLE

gez in the photos that bucky posted the Summernats looked quiet and thought to myself l might enter the car again for next year but after hearing that obviously Chick Henrys new security firm sucks just like the last couple of years is that they cant control the crown Hense crowds doing anything they like.
The reason there is security is to protect the entrant well as now l can see its just like any business now they just like to take your money and stuff the consacense (sorry spelling)

When I used to go the crowd was bloody crazy. Yet I never saw one chick get any more that a few lewd remarks and the cars were sacred... an instant punch in the head greeted anyone who broke those unwritten rules. Best time of my life!

Now the security just seems to be waiting for a car to do something wrong so it can be thrown out and letting the disrepectful morons do as they please.

After summernats 2000 i vowed I wouldn't go back until that was fixed, looks like i'll be waiting a bit longer.
