Thanks for the offer of the BBQ, BlackLS, sounds like a great idea. We just had the modelshoot yesterday so now it's on to organising the final details of this run! Timmeh |

Has a date been set?
If I don't have the Clio before then - unfortunately I will not be able to come. However, should I purchase a Clio before the day - I will be there! (although maybe not going AS hard if I cannot get the car run in before hand) Cheers, Steven

I have been working hard moving house, so I apologise for not having the final details already.
Which weekend works better for people, the last weekend in March (24th, 25th, 26th) or the first in April (31st, 1st, 2nd)? We just have to work out a good common location in southern Sydney to head off from, in discussion with Todd about it. Let us know date preferences and the final details will be up in a few days! I wont be available on 26th March or 2nd April, but available any other day.
Also recently picked up a new Digital Vid Cam, so all the EuroFord glory can be captured.

Final Details
Date: Saturday 1st April - this is to give guys who go to the Classic Ford Cruise some time and also to give people a bit of notice. Time: Meetup 9am, Departure time is 9.30am sharp - yes, this is early but we don't want to get caught behind a million caravaners on the old road. If you won't be there on time but are still coming, call me and we'll assess the situation at the time. Getting caught in mid-saturday traffic sucks. Meet-up Location: As BlackLS suggested, the Maccas at Heathcote will do. The car park isn't huge but it will be early so we should be ok, if not we can overflow nearby. You'll know you're close when you get to the BP Fuel Station (fill up if you need to), the Black Stump is after it, and the McDonalds is on the corner at the lights, but the driveway is before the lights. What to bring: CB Radio if you have one, they are well worth it, trust us. A full tank of fuel, even though you won't be using it all, probably only half a tank. A good attitude, does not include thinking you are qualifying for the next World Rally round. Also bring a folding chair to sit on if you have one, for lunch, and bring a hat in case shade is in short supply at lunch (though we'll do our best to be somewhere cool). BlackLS, are you able to bring your BBQ as you offered? If so, we'll put on some sausages, bread, cokes, and sauce. If people can chip in a gold coin donation to help cover that, it would be sweet, and we'll have lunch at a park at our destination. If the date isn't suitable, please advise us ASAP. If you plan on attending, please list your name so we can sort out how much food we need at lunch. Tim (+1 maybe) |

And if you're new to cruising with us, let me know and I'll PM you my phone number so you have a way of contacting us if you get lost / are running late / etc. Timmeh |
