I take it that Forza 2 isn't coming to PS3? I loved the first one when I was living with a mate who had an XBox and was so disappointed when it didn't come to Playstation.

Forza wont be on PS3, much the same as the Gran turismo series wasnt on Xbox, wish i could afford a 360, id have pre ordered it as well, loved the first one, converted me to an Xbox man...

I've got three games from USA and they all worked fine on my Xbox360.
So yes NTSC will be fine.

Only a very select few games have region encoding on it. It's actually up to developers as to whether or not to add a region to the disks.
As for Forza 2, I'll probably get it, but I'm not all that happy with Microsoft at the moment. I went to get another wireless controller for the 360, only to find out that Microsoft won't allow any 3rd party manufacturer to make their own. (ATM they are only licenced for wired controllers). To make matters worse, I was planning on getting a steering wheel for the 360 (for Forza 2, TDU and NFS) again to find out that MS are not allowing any 3rd party manufacturers (i.e. Logitech) to make their own wheel. I already have a Driving Force Pro that I use with GT4 (and rFactor on my comp), and was hoping that a comparable wheel would be released soon for the 360. No luck. Logitech cannot even give an ETA on when they would be able to release a new wheel for the 360, they can only say that they do not currently have the required licence from MS. How much better would Forza 2 be with a Logitech g25 wheel? Or for that matter with the DFPro? I don't want to but I might have to get Microsoft's own wheel. (I actually already have the Mad Katz MC2 wheel, and it's not sensitive enough for me, not to mention the vibration leaves a lot to be desired). It just reiterates to me yet another advantage of the PS3. (It supports the g25 out of the box. Not to mention GT HD supports some of the more advanced features of the wheel). I would expect that when Gran Turismo 5 gets released it would have full support for the g25 (if not a newer version). |

I would tiptoe around a corner that I should have been gunning it a lot harder through as it was difficult to tell from my view that I could still give a bit more before I had it too sideways. |

Got mine, having fun with an insane R34. This thing pulls 200-300 faster than my XR8 can make it from 0-100. Pity the thing doesn't want to turn. :P

Picked up my pre-order this morning and got the collectors price matched to $84. So far its awesome, the sounds, the visuals, the tracks .. all awesome. Theres plenty of rims to choose too lol !
Anyone had any troubles with the Microsoft 360 Wheel ? I bought one last Sunday and had to take it back this morning. As soon as I plugged it in on day one it tilted to the right no matter what. So steering was retarded, theres a fix on the forza forum but I'd rather not pull mine apart so I got a replacement from JB this evening. Once everyone has had the game for a little while we should have some lap time comps .. with a certain car and track etc.

How is the game progression in career mode or whatever they call it. As good as the first was, the game progression wasnt its strong point, that is what will make me decide if want it or not i think...
