Mate if the things going to sit outside and become part of the earth, why not just pinch it and hide it an make it your own. I'm not at all saying stealing is right, but why let people ruin something we all long for, if they couldn't give a flying **** about it then make it your own lol. Or do the next best thing, offer 1k cash for it, and be like its a shell of a car, and bull**** about it saying it would make a great paddock basher with a motor in it etc. It takes stupidity to deal with stupidity

Hi. Get the friend who stored the car to submit a bill to the estate for "secure storage" and work done to at least the value of the car or ask for the car to be returned as payment for said storage. Cheers MD

Do you know if the car was complete when the guy started to restore it? If so there has to be original parts for this somewhere ? I know it had been stored but is there any knowledge of the whereabouts of such parts. I'd imagine the person who started to restore it would have them stored somewhere.
Cheers Grahame. |

the thought came across my mind XR6-FTW,
I even said to my friend that if you here noises outside tonight don't come out, But i could not do that. I made a substantial offer on the car and she refused the offer, My friend did get the storage fees and money back for the parts he put on the car. |

Yes the parts were stored at my friends house and also at the original owners house,
They all went with the car, The car was originally red, brown hounds tooth interior, 5.8, single rail, 9 inch, full instrumentation, padded dash, I was told it was a gxl but not sure and the interior doesn't make any sense to be a gxl. The car had the factory side vents also, (had). |

So you (quote:I made a substantial offer on the car and she refused the offer,) all because of supposedly sentimental reasons but she'll leave the car out in the elements to just rust away to a point where the car will be worthless. That's just 'Sacrilege' in my book.
So much for respect for her brothers wishes to have the car restored. Such a shame and waste. Some people just don't get it do they! Cheers Grahame. |

then its money some ones in her ear and now she knows it might be worth some thing !
and id put money on it that when she did give it the one storing it she would have thought it wasn't worth anything if it was me pending what was stored at the premises with the shell id be stating prove its part the shell and in till you can it stays here , and while we are at it heres a bill for storage of the shell with the interests as its not been kept up with payment for storage and any prier agreements on storage were with original owner and well you've left it here for the three years since so It was accepted as discarded but if you want it back settle the storage bill first
