Used to be a big fan of bourbon, I still am when I go out to the pub for a drink.

At home I drink 12 year old Scotch and coke. I absolutely loved the bottle of GLENLIVET we had, its a pitty it had to end. Now I think we're onto a bottle of Chivas Regal, I'm not a real fan of it though.
HMMM I love 12 year old Scotch, I'm not a huge fan of black douglas and some of the other types.

Agreed. The only thing that should be mixed with a good Single Malt is soda.

Bundy + Coke for me though, although I am 99% of the time a beer man. However, a few well mixed Bundy + Cokes will speed up the process.

Anything in a 30ml shot or mixed will do me.

Where to start, Evan Wiliiams, WIld Turkey (American honey is even better), Jacks, Jim, Makers Mark.

Love bundy,Bacardi, Also dont mid Yellow Galiano with coke (tastes like fairy floss).

Though I do get from a mate at work every now and then a bottle of Gruppa. Now that will strip paint and put wind in your sails.

My mates uncle makes Arak (lebanese equivalent to grappa i think)

I remember the first time i tried it... Was at a mates 13th or 14th bday at a bowling place.. It actually helped my centre of gravity! I ended up bowling a 150 game, have never been close since

I like a good scotch on the rocks.. wait for some ice to melt to dilute the taste a bit, then add more ice

Funny thing is, i like doing it this way, but i dont like scotch + water..

To get a true appreciation, I'd sip it straight. But I personally find straight Scotch too strong for my beer appreciating palate.

Just soda water, club soda or seltzer. Keep the concentration of Scotch greater than or equal to 50%, maybe chuck a few ice cubes in and you're set.

That way you can enjoy the flavour of the Scotch without the extreme strength.

Yeah from Tap it's much more enjoyable. I have no idea why either. It's just so fresh and crisp.

I'm suprised we haven't heard more Tequila. Whenever I have a big day or night out, we'll always do Tequila chasers.

Shots with beer really make the night cheaper. Using lime instead of lemon is also far better.

The end of my night is usually signalled when i start getting shots of Chartreusse or Battery Acid.. Like Tequila, i will NEVER drink it when i am sober.

A battery acid consists of:
10mL Green Chartreusse
10mL Tequila
10mL OP Bundy Rum
3-4 drops of Tobasco

The WORST tasting shot i have ever had.. but goddamn.. 5 or 6 of those at the end of the night and say BYE BYE

Shots with beer aye?

Remember the Carlton Cold Shot? That was gooooood

haha glenn, funny you should mention.

first time i ever got drunk (after my first breakup) ... even my first drink at that, i spewed so hard that night that 100% of the white in my eyes was pure, blood red. blew capillaries in both my eyes, although i don't remember anything of it.

i'm sure i have a pic of it somewhere, lol.

no one told me you should stop at one bottle of bourban :P

guess what my vote in the poll was... hahaha

LOL. The carlton cold shot, I remember that. I also remember dropping a lot of those bottles because someone told me they were smash proof. They aren't.

I don't mix the beer and tequila together. It's usually just a Beer, shot, beer, shot. Repeat steps 1-2 until desired effect is achieved.

Haha, Mine would have to be JB Green, Wild turkey or CC.

A shot that nearly killed me was 15mL Bacardi 151 and 15mL Absolut Peppar with 5 or so drops of tobasco...
Never having that one again. Haha
