I don't really watch it on TV much but I must admit I am hooked on the live cam.

Well if you can add for everyone for that hates it in your neighbourhood, can I vote for everyone that I know that likes it? :P

I like the updates, don't go out of my way to watch uplate or uncut.
I met Frysie in December last year, he looks like an egg head on TV but in real life.. phwoar... He's a tall bugger too. :sm_drool:

I've hidden his autograph coz Troy hates him. :

Lisa, shearer is probably my favourite in the house this year too. _2:

I watch it. But not obsessively.
I saw uncut for the first time tonight, Faaark some of the stuff they show on it too, theres plenty of boob but you have to endure some salami as well. Bloody hell it has to be said though (Without soundin like a p00f) I feel sorry for those twins, they make me feel pretty comfortable with myself.... : ifyaknowwhatimean......

Not all that bad a show, never watched the others. Gianna was a arrogant moll, but she was a hot moll, and made me wish i was in there. Geneva isnt all that good lookin but from what it looks like (from UNcut tonight) she's a bit of a tart, doing the shearer in the pool and sauna. Ahhhhh, Nah i reckon i could put up with bein in there ;)

People sitting in houses watching people sitting in houses. It's the epitomy of pointless and banal TV. I pretty much stop watching anything on Channel 10 that's scheduled to show afterwards because the inanity always breaks its timeslot.

I could handle an extra 30 mins of Australian Idiot going into Criminal Intent but I absolutely refuse to watch this trash.

I was really thrilled when I voted for the very last option... cos then I found 20023 other ppl agreed with me!

Nup, no time for it. Gotten over "Reality" tv except for one teeny tiny type of reality tv... any show like the Bachelor, Bachelorette, Average Joe etc and I am there. Sad hey? But I just can't help myself! TG they have eased my addiction by either showing this stuff late at night or not at all.

Now it's made space for other worthwhile addictions like these: :baby bott : :eclipsee_ : : :disco:

Fair enough to those who don't like it and don't want to watch it, but to some of us it provides a way of forgetting about the rubbish that we are having to deal with in our lives for a short while. I'd much rather have to deal with Big Brother then with the slum lord landlord and his antics!

Besides, it's easily better then watching crap like Home and Away, Neighbours or Days of our lives! :

I can't find it entertainment, 'reality TV shows' are fine if they take you from your life and show you something that you might never experience BUT every aussie can sit in a house

But now that Gianna has gone... :hihi: _2:

It'd be better without the show of sausage, but I guess they have to put that in to keep the women happy and to stop any claims of discrimination.

I love Big Brother. I find people in general fascinating so I find it interesting to watch them on tv. Yes a lot of it is exaggerated and warped by the show to appeal to the teeny-boppers. But if you can look past that its interesting to see the characters of people slowly revealing themselves more and more. And unlike fake characters, you can never reach the end of getting to know a real person.

Well said, it's also interesting from a psychological and group dynamics perspective, seeing how the group interacts and how people in there react to things.

Which is why I didn't want Gianna to be voted out, because I wanted to see what was going to happen with her and the other women in the house, I'm sure if she'd been in there for another week then there would have been a huge fight with at least one other female in there...

Yeah i have to admit i watch it. I dont get home in time for the 7pm show (and would rather watch the simpsons on fox8 anyway..).. but up late is OK.

I'm more concerned about the number of people that watch the CRAP being spouted on 60 minutes, Today Tonight and ACA. Its amazing what passes as journalism in this country. Makes BB look harmless...

But do you honestly get to see that? My gf at the time was addicted to this show a few series ago and one 30 min block was spent showing one dork trying to work out who used more than their share of milk and who stole a biscuit. A 24 hour period of taping and this was the best they could come up with? She saw the light when they had the 'celebrities' version and switched off.

The other issue I have is that exact thing. You get 30 minutes a day of compressed and edited viewing. Plus a norti bits show every now and then. You're left with Ch10's representation of how they wish to portray certain people in an exaggerated and oppressive environment, an environment that's as far away from reality as you could probably get in share accomodation. You film someone 24 hours a day in a situation like that and I'll guarantee that you can edit it to make them look however you want them to. Sadly, they've never been able to edit it to make it entertaining IMO. It's utterly mindless pap.

I'm at a loss to see the point of the show. I certainly can see why Ch10 keep trotting it out as well as Australian Idiot. It's cheap to run and it sells lots of *phonecalls*.

I watch this one religiously... yes folks, the most cynical person on ff.au watches big brother as if his life depends on it.

I've borrowed tapes of German & Belgian big brothers to watch ( I am of german extraction so I follow the lingo a bit ) and I've gotta say they make ours look like coronation street.

IMO this is the best Big Brother taking the mantle from the first series, simply because there is bitching, conniving, manipulating, back stabbing, fighting, people getting ****ed, b( . )( . )bs, r()()ting and genuine nasty characters. I can't stand Michael but he helps give the show it's hard assed edge.

Kate actually is the spitting image and comes from the same part of WA as a chick I was deeply in love with in yr 7 ( could they be sisters ) so she is worth watching for nostalgia value except she won't get her gear off and needs a tan.

I watch it when there's nothing else on.

Did Geneva and Shearer really play hide the sausage in the pool? Crazy shit! I didn't get to watch uncut last night..
