I really like this colour. Overall I like FPV's styling compared to HSV's "plastic fantastic" styling they're currently employing.

I don't care if HSV fight back with a better engine. Until their styling is more to my tastes (Clean, simple, and nice) FPV have won me over with their current crop.

I've been a bit of a critic of the 'Racoon Eyes' since they began....

But you know what... with that 'chopped' version on page 1... I think that it misses something...

The 'eyes' have been FPV's new calling card (minus the GT-E & F6-E versions) and I think that its great that they've stuck with them... to establish them as a 'high performance' FPV identifier...

Really can't wait to have a steer of one... (or mash the throttle on one)...
I've driven all of the FPV GT's to date... and will certainly be visiting a showroom as soon as the demos arrive...

I tend to agree. I am sure they will be replaced at some point with another signature but it does come down to colour choice. Some work, some don't.

Some really exciting words being spoken so far

Will the new GTE be available in a manual? What are the colour choices (I know there are eight to choose from but not sure which eight).

I'm a big fan of the new look, the stripes are much more prominent and give the GT a louder look without going too far (E2).

New GS:

Thought i would chop a different stripe option as im not a fan of the new one. Also lowered stance makes a huge difference to the look.

the pic above, side view, looks really sexy. Ive read in the sydney paper on the internet that these cars are a real wepon. The car slightly shakes at idle, snaps the tacho like an old worked cleveland and sounds really great. I hope they televise the GT when they take it around bathurts ths weekend, with a camera strapped to the rear bumper!!! :-) Abit of side ways action would be quiet nice aswell, lets hear her sing :-D

Guess what , these have grown on me , evolution has set in with the FG FPV's . i now have been converted on the stripe package , new wheels , and supercharger .
this in my opinion already makes claim to the best GT EVER MADE TO DATE . . all the things i werent sure about have blended into a mean package . and it isn't even on roads yet . it is a great time to buy one if funds are available . i do not think MKII's etc will be leaps ahead of this puppy .

Really Really Like that, great job.

Can't belive how much difference a Spring change is going to make and the Stripe design is excellent.

Looking at the comments on the link page the opposition is either uneasy or misinformed. I'm guessing both.
Can't wait for heads up testing to begin, this is what we have been waiting for !

Love the new look, but I am devastated there's no Pursuit or Super Pursuit ute available.
I've finally got somewhere to put one and they stop making them!

THIS. IS. AMAZING.

I think the hockey-sticks will grow on me, but I much prefer your 'shop here. Bold, tasteful, agressive... I like it.

And when will they learn to make their vehicles look lower in promotional shots? Way, way too high, it looks terrible.

I'll take a Havana GTE kthnx

Lowered looks so much better. Don't think I'd like to be the owner of a current or late model GT. Every bugger will want one of these.................

I dunno, there's something about those rims that doesn't look right to me. They could be a little bigger, and perhaps a rim that doesn't expose the rotor area so much (BF GTP, dark argents etc.) but overall a fine effort for Ford. Now considering T's put a lot of stress on the driveline (diff bushes etc) im curious whether Ford beefed this area up for the explosive power of the forced 8?

The only thing that I don't rate.... is the GT badge on the Passenger door...

Kinda looks like an afterthought...

As in - they looked into the box of badges and realised they had a couple of leftovers... looked for a space with nothing happening... and went 'SLAP' there she goes!!!

I love the use of the 'retro' GT style badge...
Maybe on the rear spoiler blackout??
I dunno... just something doesn't feel right with it....

And where's the Coyote Superoo style symbol??? *jokes!*
