It is very sad indeed. I suspect in Aus we will just get higher tides, well I hope so. I am really thinking 2012 may be true.

heres just a pic from a friend they found on whats going on.. just to give anyone who can't see the TV/news headlines an idea of how bad it is..
unfortunately you can also see all the oil/fuels that have gotten caught in it, and making it worse.. and i think 2012 is true now aswell...

My best wishes with all of those who have lost loved ones in Japan, fingers crossed Hawaii doesn't get hit as hard as is being mentioned.

Technicians are struggling to cool the turbines for the nuclear reactor. All power available has been diverted to drive turbines. If this fails god help us.

Watching it live here at work ... it really is surreal.
Worst earthquake in Japanese history. The water ingress just isn't stopping ... it's still flowing through.

We have one AFF member (that we know about) there on a skiiing holiday. Glen a.k.a. EXR8ED
Have sent him text messages asking to let us know he is safe and well. None of us have had any joy but will now wait and not overload the communication system. Will post here if we get any news. Regards Gaela

Gotta wonder wheres next? Christchurch and Japan both share the Pacific Plate so maybe a knock on effect. San Francisco in a few weeks then, same plate again.

just read on abc news website that the nuclear plants are fine and will stay fine, that there is no need to panic.

300 bodies found on Japanese coast. Also a nuclear power plant near a populated area is set to blow. I'm watching the pre tsunami water recession in Hawaii live on CNN, fox news.

It was never going to be a ten metre wave hitting Hawaii. The 10 metre wave was the one that reportedly hit Sendai. The one currently hitting Hawaii so far is virtually non-existent, but time will tell.

American talking heads are unbareably daft. There like robots yet to receive programing. Also it's very very hard to cool a reactor without sufficient H3o.

There is a cheesmaker on fox news now. Not even a feed along the bottom. Fox news, they just cut the cheese. Back to CNN
