So after all this, For us ford boys/girls, which is the best way to maximise the intake of cold air? for an N/A? Would you say, A podfilter in a made up box with a pipe leading to the front of the car? ooor>????

So...I'm not sure what your point is. Intercooler/aftercooler/radiator - they're all just heat exchangers. You call it aftercooler, and no-one knows what you're talking about. Everyone else says intercooler, and EVERYONE knows what is being talked about.

And mine was just pointless. You did interest me enough to look it up actually (a few posts ago now). And while technically correct, colloquially, intercooler is a term that serves its purpose.

Anyway, either way, an after/intercooler is about as useful in an NA car as my posts are in this thread! I think I'll wander back to the AU section about now. LOL.
